Can rossito beat haye tonight

Haye was a case of 'Same old, Same old' for me. Not a knock, trust me, because every time I see him, I'm reminded of just what it is that excites me about the guy. When he lets go, he looks awesome: Rossito was a late replacemement, and seemingly not that up for it, but you can't take away the fact that Haye looks truly destructive when he goes to work. But at the same time, what did we learn? Nothing, essentially. My big worry is that Haye is capable of taking out Gurov within 4 rounds, and we still won't have learnt anything. I know it's not easy for the guy to get rounds in, not the way he hits, but he needs to be tested, be it by someone who can hang in there, or someone who can hit back with similar power.

I'm still holding out for Haye-Maccarinelli. Haye would appear to hold the advantages in terms of speed and fluency, but I'd love to see how he'd react if Enzo cracked him on the chin. Which he's more than capable of doing.

Haye-Macarinelli is a natural it just has to happen, i think it would be criminal should they go seperate ways without a massive matchup (unification whatever) between two British prospects. Haye's level of competetion has been better i feel than Enzo's thus far.

i think haye would blitz thru enzo and early as well.

enzo hits hard but his lack of head movement would mean an early night against a quick hard puncher like haye.

enzo's chin is not exactly granite itself is it.

Can anyone think of anyone who's progressed to a decent level - like picked up a world title - but has never gone 12 rounds? I really think that's what we're going to see with Haye

i was very impressed with anthony small, he was awsome, very exciting to watch and he delivered 3 excellent knockdowns in one round. hope to see more of him soon, he could really light up the LM devision.
middleweight Adjetovic looks very cabable and classy, he should go a long way and has good potential.

mmm... thats a good question.

There are a fair few that never had to go 12, but cannot think of many who didn't get extended to points.

Think Mike Tyson won on points over 10 once prior to Berbick.

Bruno got extended on points (over 10) once before the European title win.

Lewis got extended (only to an 8 round decision) prior to his EBU title win and once to 10 (against Levi Bullips) prior to his first world title.

Big George Foreman got extended to 10 prior to hammering Frazier.

Oh... Got one - Herbie Hide - British champion without ever going on points, only won on points once in his career.
