If any of these got a world title shot and it were advertised and built up properly on c5 then they would get crazy figures
it has to be about figures
Fury vs Klitchko's would be massive - i think viewing figures would be like an england world cup match or something, same with degale
degale could be a PPV fighter in next few years
If Fury/ Degale or Eubank jnr got a world titlle shot

Fury maybe but not degale, to many people just don't like him, only time will tell...Boxing Addict wrote:If any of these got a world title shot and it were advertised and built up properly on c5 then they would get crazy figures

Degale has had his ppv fight already I would say and that was only by default once Clev headlining fell through. I guess I could envisage a return rubber with the saint being ppv if he's still with hearn and maybe bagged the WBO. Similarly if he somehow got a shot at froch.
But I doubt he'll ever be the name fighter headlining one. The new breed of Olympians have or will steal his USP of Olympic gold and he doesn't seem to have a big enough following.
Fury on ppv on the other hand......

Boxing Addict,
Simple question for you.
If it's that simple why are CH 5 pulling out ?
Why have BBC already pulled out ?
Why have ITV already pulled out ?
On the issue of Fury you have stated he will become a PPV star.
Are you seriously advocating that a terrestrial TV channel invest heavily only to see the fighter fornicate off when the big fghts happen ?
Delusional.

Not totally owned Mickey.
The strong rumours were that this Primetime tie in was why Channel 5 got into bed with Meaty Mick.
The plan was to develop boxers on the terrestrial network then hand em over for PPV.
But seriously who has developed ?
How many fresh signings has Mick made, particularly as it seems a queue is developing to leave certain Promotors.
Maybe that's a reason they've put up the shutters.
All this talk about Eubank jnr in a World Title fight ppv is just delusional.
He's just about in the top six UK ffs.
I respect Mick for having achieved what he did but I for one can understand Channel 5's stance.
