Welcome back Rover, it's so nice to see you again you run-to-mammy-little-bitch you.
He's ignoring you, but posting anyway just so you know that he knows. The internet equivalent of holding your hands over your ears and going na-na-na I can't hear you.

Samuel Serrano with Yasutsune Uehara.
Serrano was KO'd in the first fight; he won a close decision in the second which, I believe, UPI scored for him by two points.

Wilfred Benitez v. Bruce Curry.
I believe that had the fight been scored on points rather than rounds, Curry would've won.

I forgot another Chavez one that I'm surprised hasn't come up: v. Lockridge.
I thought Chavez won it, and it wasn't quite as close as Laporte, but it wasn't a cracking, either, though I believe Chavez had some type of injury.

Since Mayorga/Forrest was mentioned earlier, Mosley v. Forrest should also be mentioned. Vernon certainly wasn't expected to win that first fight. He did so decisiively and won the rematch closely.

Idk, I kinda had a feeling Forrest was gonna do what he did. Him being in video games caused me to start following his career, and I knew his jab-right hand would be bad news for Sugar Shane's style.
I thought Shane would win. I thought it'd be a challenge, but I thought he'd win. I was shocked not only that Vernon won but how convincingly he did it.

Camacho with Rosario. He sure got cracked plenty, though.
:OhYes:
(I scored it 115-113 Camacho.)

That fight was from like my 2nd month as a hardcore boxing fan. I remember I loved Arturo Gatti that night even though all he did was beat the crap out Terronn Millett, I really loved the guy when I saw his other fights. Going into the Mosley vs Forrest fight I knew jack about either of them except that Shane Mosley was a character on the Knockout Kings 2000 video game, everything else I knew about them I learned that night from the coverage. Ahh the early days of boxing fandom

Can't believe I forgot Hagler/Leonard.
Whether or not you agree with the decision, Hagler was the favorite, and he couldn't convincingly win the fight.

I had it a draw. Can't really argue about a decision either way when that is the case.
