Yes il Duce is a very good poster, but i am surprised that this wouldn't of been linked up by the record keepers already, i could understand 1 or 2 fights getting missed, but 30?
Plus some of those fights took place on big bills, not in some backwater where they could be easily missed.

Hopefully the record will be updated. Cervantes's was; over 30 fights hadn't been in there.

I am from a continent.
I lost my first title shot by KO on another continent.
I returned to that continent years later and won the same title from a different fighter.
I then returned to the continent I am from and made a successful defense.
I then lost my title on the continent I'm from in my next defense.

Who am I?
These "continent" questions are quite hard as they cover so many countries, need another clue I think

Don't worry, no Puerto Rico involved here. The places where this all occurred aren't in dispute.
After the fighter in question lost his title, he retired.

I was never good in geography so questions on continents are rough, so I try to leave those questions to someone else !

Are you talking about a World Champion, or another Championship ?

I have another Golden Glove Show to do today so I can't do any kind of research now.

I still don't like them so I will leave them to Bundana until tomorrow. I did go over every World Champion already But I still couldn't find the answer But again I am not good in Geography so I most likely missed someone.

Who am I?
Yasutsune Uehara.
KO'd by Villaflor in Hawaii, USA.
Then KO'd Serrano in Detroit on the Hearns/Cuevas undercard.
Beat Hernandez in Japan.
Then lost to Serrano in Japan and retired (don't know why--quite interesting).

I saw Yasutsune Uehara but this is what I found on Hawaii so I ruled him out:

Hawaii is generally considered to NOT be a part of any continent at all. It's special in that it is the only U.S. state "not a part of the North American mainland". It's not located on the North American tectonic plate (but neither is part of California), but rather in the middle of the Pacific plate, so geologists wouldn't consider it part of North America.

Hawaii isn't part of any continent although it is politically part of the United States.

Hawaii is a chain of islands in the Pacific Ocean, so it is not considered to be part of any continent. Instead, it is part of Oceania, a region centered on the islands of the tropical Pacific Ocean.

Hawaii is one point of the so-called Polynesian triangle together with New Zealand and Easter Island (Rapa Nui). This area was originally settled by people with a common cultural background.

I was basing it on being politically part of it.

Given the issue of conflict involving continents, I won't ask any more continent questions even though I got the idea from someone else.

Every source I found says that Hawaii is not a part of any continent, so that's why we ruled him out.

A continent is a continued land mass, and Hawaii is not a part of any except their own.

I am glad your not going to ask anymore questions about Continents!

Well, I have to get ready for the Golden Glove Show tonight.

Just to let you know, Bundana and I have been on several different web sites and one, which I won't even name, Bundana put up a New Year's Day Quiz. After most of the questions were answered, for some reason they deleted it. I then asked why and they deleted that as well. The next year Bundana decided to post another set of New Year's Day questions and the same thing happened. I know he worked very hard and long to come up with all these questions and I also know first hand that it took many hours to answer them all. I just want to post his questions here and see how many of you can come up with the right answers. Here's the Quiz he put up on New Year's Day of 2012. When this is done I will post the quiz he put up on New Year's Day of 2013.

I am sure it's alright with Bundana and he should control this and I will stay in the background. When you answer one of the questions, your name will go up beside the answer.

Champion/world champion/title holder: Someone who, at some point during his career, held a world title recognized by BoxRec.
"25 consecutive years club": Boxers who have had at least 1 pro bout, in each of 25 consecutive calendar years.
Knockout: A fight that ends in a KO, TKO or RTD.
HOFer: Member of the IBHOF.

OK, here we go... 15 rounds for the championship:

Round 1: Who challenged, unsuccessfully, for world titles in 2 different decades - before finally being crowned champion in a 3rd decade?

Round 2: On the record of which boxer, can we find the most fights against world champions?

Round 3: I had more than 50 pro fights - half of which were against HOFers. Who am I?

Round 4: Name a former member of the exclusive club of retired (at least 5 years!) world champions, who won every fight they ever had.

Round 5: On a list of world champions with the most consecutive 1st-round ko wins, Edwin Valero is of course No 1 with 18(!) - but who is 2nd on such a list?

Round 6: No champion had more fights than Jack Britton (last count: 346!) - but which 20th century world champ had the fewest pro bouts?

Round 7: Name the last/latest boxer to become a member of the "25 consecutive years club".

Round 8: Which boxer(s) challenged for world titles in 3 different divisions - without ever becoming champion?

Round 9: Which NON-champion was once able to boast, that he was the youngest man who had fought for the heavyweight crown since Sullivan vs Corbett?

Round 10: I wasn't even born, when my brother made his pro debut - but many years later, we would appear on no less than 10 cards together. Who are we?

Round 11: Name 2 boxers, who after their first 100 paid bouts could proudly say, that they held a win over every opponent they had met in a pro ring.

Round 12: Who started his career with the longest streak of fights, without a single ko defeat?

Round 13: After portraying 2 HOF-champions in movies, I fought a real champion for the first time - in a real fight! Who am I?

Round 14: On which boxer's record can we find the longest streak of consecutive fights against heavyweight champions?

Round 15: McLarnin fought 15 HOFers, Greb and Moore 14 each, Langford met 13, at 12 we find... well, who are the men with 12 HOFers on their records?

As I can't edit in hhascup's posts, I'll repeat the questions here:

Round 1: Who challenged, unsuccessfully, for world titles in 2 different decades - before finally being crowned champion in a 3rd decade?

Round 2: On the record of which boxer, can we find the most fights against world champions?

Round 3: I had more than 50 pro fights - half of which were against HOFers. Who am I? (slight record change since last year, new question: I had 55 fights - 28 against HOFers)

Round 6: No champion had more fights than Jack Britton (latest count: 345!) - but which 20th century world champ had the fewest pro bouts?

Round 7: Name the last/latest boxer to become a member of the "25 consecutive years club".

Round 8: Which boxer(s) challenged for world titles in 3 different divisions - without ever becoming champion? (several correct answers)

Round 13: After portraying 2 HOF-champions in movies, I fought a real champion for the first time - in a real fight! Who am I?

Round 14: On which boxer's record can we find the longest streak of consecutive fights against heavyweight champions?

Round 15: McLarnin and Greb* both fought 15 HOFers, Moore fought 14, Langford met 13, at 12 we find... well, who are the men with 12 HOFers on their records?
* One more HOFer for Greb (Jeff Smith) since last year.

It's been over 24 hours and I can't believe that no one has even tried! I know some of them are hard but with a litle research you should come up with some answers.

FINALLY someone was brave enough to give it a try!

4. Jeffries had a few draws so it's not him!
5. Dempsey had 5 consecutive 1st round KO's But that is still several short.
6. You miss read the question. Muangsurin finished his career with a total of 20 fights, our guy had a lot less.
12. Robinson was one of the answers, But there several more that have done the same thing, But you did get at least one.
