Retired after being beaten by Lennox Lewis in what Lewis said was his biggest pan in the ass, frustrating fight. Retired at the top, al be it with a loss but a fantastic record. Retired due to an undisclosed illness ..................... anyone know the ins and outs of this illness, was it boxing related or not? Guy is doing really well now in the food business by all accounts ........

Double edged sword then, pleased he is doing well, wonder if he trained with whatever problem it is when active?

Not sure. I think he had some sort of life threatening illness which was ultimately down to diet (or his inability to process certain foods). It's why he ended up starting his business.

I can't remember the ins and outs of it to be honest, just that it came up a while ago and Googling him came up with his website and there was a bio on it about his illness.

It was a form of a muscle wasting disease, like muscular dystrophy, but it was somehow connected to his inability to process certain foods. Shame, the guy had tons of talent.

I thought he was making at cruiserweight in 2013 but got injured with a broken rib?
