I was watching a dvd of the old television series from the 1950's
the other day
HAVE GUN WILL TRAVEL.
in one of the episodes Richard Boone plays a bare knuckled prizefighter
and in the text info it says during his days at Stanford University
back in the 1930's,he had been a light-heavyweight amateur boxing champion.
He looked pretty good fighting,his style sort of reminded me of
Primo Carnera's style and Clint Eastwood in EVERY WHICH WAY BUT LOOSE.
although he may have adapted that style just for tv.

That's pretty cool. I used to watch that show with my dad.

He always seemed legit in his fight scenes.
