Quite the task master was Muldoon. Made Sullivan run with weights on his legs and heavy clothes around the 500 acre farm, etc. made weighted bags on ropes and had people pelt Sullivan with them, so Sullivan would throw them back, etc. Its no wonder Sullivan was in great conditioning by the time he fought Kilrain and immediately after challenged Mitchell on the spot. Muldoon was a century ahead of his time.
