Re: Saturday 30th Spoilers/RbR
Let's not forget that Ian John Lewis is one of the judges...anything could happen!

R12: 10-9 Crolla
--
115-113 Matthews
I gave Matthews the nod in a few close rounds early on. I'm not going to argue it either way

Re: Saturday 30th Spoilers/RbR
That was a great fight. Love these tactical battles
Re: Saturday 30th Spoilers/RbR
Draw means they'll do it again, so that's ok by me.
Re: Saturday 30th Spoilers/RbR
Well maybe I need to re-assess my scoring technique, I had Matthews winning that by four.

"Listen very carefully".
Stupid announcing.

Re: Saturday 30th Spoilers/RbR
Was thinking of betting on the draw earlier but never got round to it. Numpty.
Re: Saturday 30th Spoilers/RbR
Weird fight, weird commentating, weird analysis, weird scoring.

As soon as he said that I knew it would be scored a draw.Horse wrote:"Listen very carefully".

Nice respect between them there, good to see.
Re: Saturday 30th Spoilers/RbR
Had already backed the under so in desperation backed the draw at 16s in running for 20 quid so made a small profit on the night.J-C wrote:Was thinking of betting on the draw earlier but never got round to it. Numpty.
Thought they should have let Crolla off the leash at half way not the last four, if they get there tactics right next time Crolla may have too much, Derry is so brave but
he cant keep going through this time after time.
Great credit to both lads no argument with the verdict from me (obviously)

Re: Saturday 30th Spoilers/RbR
Come on guys it wasn't weird, I was a really hard fight to score in the first 4 rounds. These guys are watching it from 10 feet away, we're watching on telly big difference.
I'm happy with the outcome in all fairness.

Re: Saturday 30th Spoilers/RbR
I had it 116-113 Crolla thought his neater boxing on the back foot won a few of the close middle rounds, mines sounds wider than most
Re: Saturday 30th Spoilers/RbR
Mathews will probably go after Gethin rather than fight Crolla again.
Re: Saturday 30th Spoilers/RbR
"Isaac Chiwaaaaaa!".
This guy is normally better than this.

Re: Saturday 30th Spoilers/RbR
Plugging this Bellew fight as the biggest if his life/career is weird too. Perhaps sky are forgetting about his world title domestic dust up because it was on allegedly.
Re: Saturday 30th Spoilers/RbR
50-50 fight, dangerous opponent, pick 'em fight....putting the sky chatter aside, is this Chilemba any good?
Re: Saturday 30th Spoilers/RbR
DOCTOR Sulaiman? Dear god...
Re: Saturday 30th Spoilers/RbR
This Chilemba dude has a WBC title too!!
Re: Saturday 30th Spoilers/RbR
Has John McDonald been to the Mark Burdis school of announcing? He's bloody awful tonight...
Re: Saturday 30th Spoilers/RbR
What was that about?
