Am just wondering about this arena/ location. Am looking to stay overnight but not sure where. Hopefully somewhere within easy reach of the venue but also a few bars....any useful info appreciated.

Motorpoint Sheffield
I am jumping aboard the "A-train" and coming to Sheffield to watch Amir vs. this Julio Diaz guy, as well as Audley etc...although Lord I do worry a bit about Audley. I know lots of people on here don't rate Amir Khan for various reasons or just don't like but I think with the likes of Khan, Diaz, Gary Sykes, Agogo, Nate Campbell, Flannigan etc...there is plenty of entertainment here.

Its an ibis and a premier inn across the road, its between 5-10 min taxi journey to city centre from there
Re: Motorpoint Sheffield

Re: Motorpoint Sheffield
Went to see Khan Barrera.....really good show, pity about the head clash. Just hoping for a good night of boxing with a good buzz and no nob-heads to spoil it.
The problem as usual is trying to sell boxing to your mates...I've decided I'm going even if it's on my tod.

I stopped in one of the hotels across the road from the arena and it was fine plus you didn't have a problem with car parking.

Noose and gibbert the b+b is called. Premier inn and ibis all within walking distance. Noose and gibbert would be my choice . Just look out for the scott jenkins big banner on the side of the b+b.

enjoy the show mate, sounds like it will be a contest like with Alcine. You won't have a problem getting digs in Blackpool that's for sure. David Haye not my favourite cup of tea after all the Klitschko and Harrison PR fiascos, but he comes to fight I'll give him that.Adamj1987 wrote:i was going to go but i bought brian rose tickets instead as its closer if you go haye fight i'd be up for a pint or 2 before or afterNorthEastBoxingFan wrote:thanks for all the tipsnot interested in being on the drink all day but a few pints afterwards definitely, cheers again
I famously tipped Haye to get outboxed by Maccarinelli
