Canterbury Bankstown NRL club has approached IBF Middleweight champion Daniel Geale to act as an advisor for the club's fullback, Ben Barba as he tries to get over his recent history of alcohol fueled trouble.
The club feels that as a successful Aboriginal athlete Geale can set an example for the troubled Aboriginal footballer. Geale is reported to have agreed.

Re: BULLDOGS ASK GEALE TO MENTOR BARBA
If this is indeed true, it is a good move by the Bulldogs. I just hope Barba wants to listen!

Daniel better watch out as he could become the go-to man to help counselling wayward football figures.
Josh Dugan and Kurtley Beale could be the next ones, needing some style and class lessons from Daniel.
