If the fight occurs I think Sakio will get his second consecutive win over an undefeated opponent.

Kali Meehan was WBA no 1 heavyweight contender for years. They just kept putting it off until he got too old.

Don't try to make sense out of the organisations.

Apparently the fight is now for the full WBC title.

Sakio wins a MD (114-114, 115-113, 116-112) in a very entertaining and competitive fight. The final round was one of the most entertaining rounds I've seen over the past few years.

Hope to see Bika fight Froch next. It would be a great payday for him and a tough fight for Froch.

Sakio edged out a deserved win. He got hit way too often and he landed some big shots that didnt appear to hurt Periban that much. Once the fight heated up t was entertaining. Congrats Scorpion.

Well after 12 years a 4 title shots he finally won a deserved title at supermiddle, only problem is it's like Grant said, Ward is the champ, and it's Mindinish.

He has to unify to make it really count, and he ain't going to beat Ward., no one will in that division at present, so Steiglist,Froch is the best he can do, but i think an IBO and vacant WBC title along with a Contender series is good enough, move up Sakio if you can't land the other fights.

For me it's time to move up, his body fat is too low, and the extra weight will suit him.

I think Sakio's best money option (now he has a belt to negotiate with) is not to unify, the other champs having better options money wise and Sakio's power makes him high risk low reward.

The real money, i think, would be in offering Kessler a chance to get a belt back. Bika v Kessler is a winnable fight for Sakio and would be a good payday. If he won, he would then be a legit champ with a chance of fighting froch.

I am really happy for Sakio, regardless of the alledged validity of the belt he can call himself World Champion. However, the next fight will be interesting, there is a lot of Hungry Super Middles coming up who are on the cusp of the World Class status who are wanting to have a go at what they percieve as the 'weakest' of the belt holders, and some of them are pretty good.

Good times ahead for Bika, I do not think it will be to long before he will be in the ring again, and why not make a defence of a legitimate word title on home soil? WBC Super middleweight championship of the world in Sydney. BRING IT!!!

Please NOOOOOOO. I reckon Oosthuizen. Ranked opponent with a decent record who showed me nothing on the weekend, and financially wouldnt cost too much to get him out here.
