Boytsov is the best option because the WBO route is the quickest to a mandatory shot.

By the time he gets a WBC mandatory shot (after the Arreola-Stiverne winner), Vitali will be retired.

If he replaces Povetkin as WBA mandatory, Wladimir won't be obliged to fight him for 18 months - 2 years.

IBF is taken with Pulev/Fury/Cunningham.

It has to be the WBO.

Luis ortiz is best option, as hes ranked in WBC too.

I was watching Ringside last night, and from Haye's interview with Ed Robinson it seemed like he wanted to try to force a Vitali fight, so looks like the WBC route is most likely.

I just don't see the logic in this. The Arreola-Stiverne winner will get a title shot in late 2013. Realistically then, if Haye can force himself into a WBC mandatory position, he will get his shot in late 2014 (at the earliest), probably not until 2015, unless whoever the champion is wants to fight him beforehand. Surely, by that time, Vitali will have retired?

I think Haye should let the Vitali fight go (it's not going to happen unless he wants it) and try to force a Wlad rematch.

By the way, spot on with Ortiz, he's ranked with WBC/WBA/WBO so would be a good fight if he wanted to keep his options open with multiple bodies. Still think he should focus on WBO and target Boytsov though!

If that fight happens haye stock will go up considerably i doubt he would even need another fight after that if he wins to get the klits interested in facing him again.

I would say the other way round as well, Pulev is a good boxer with a decent dig. Not seen any problems with his chin either. I think this would be a good but risky fight for Haye.

Sorry to reiterate i meant if haye wins his stock would go through the roof. Obviously both fighters would deserve major props for getting this fight on, its a fight that neither fighter needs to make but boxing needs. Its a genuinely competitive match up id expect haye to win but id be nervous about it.

Pulev has said in a recent interview that he is fighting in june, he is in talks with haye, yes it is a dangerous fight for him but he even asked "should i only be fighting people who arent good fighters" thats the type of mentality i've been waiting to see from a HW.

Haye v Pulev or Povetkin is a big deal for boxing.
