i am looking for a david or a dave owens he was a boxer in 1966 he went out with my late mother jean thomas and she had a daugtor trudie thomas that me and am looking for him have been looking 25 years now he is my dad but i don t know if he knows about me my mum lied to me all my life am 46 and still have not met my dad eny one know where he is

i found this site and ive been looking for 25 years now and people have lied to me all my life i have loads trying to find him

I know there was a British movie actor named Dickie Owen
who worked for Hammer Film Studios back in the 1960's.
(he did a couple of their Mummy movies)
born 1929
I dont know if he ever was a boxer.
As a matter of fact his background appears rather mysterious.

Is it just assumed that this Dave Owens was a professional boxer?
If he was an amateur only,
I doubt that his name would be here on boxrec,unless he bacame famous later.
Maybe you should try the British amateur boxers database,
unless he was a Yank visiting the UK during a tournament perhaps.

The only Dave Owens I know of was a middleweight from Castleford in West Yorkshire (active 1976-1995). I just checked his detais on here and he is listed as being born in December 1954 so, whilst it is possible that he fathered a child in 1966, he would have been very, very young.

yes i saw this and my mum was 21 year old at the time am not sure about the age of him then but he was about 18 to 21 years old i know this is a werid one but he was nt a pro boxer i don t know much about him am on face book trying to find him and nothing

i don t know that much just he lived down cukskye castleford had a brother called mick he was nt a pro but amateur he was seeing my mum jean thomas and am a love child my mum lied to me all my life and she past away telling me nothing i have a few leads and been lied to a few time i got close and then nothing am trying diffrent things to see what happens
