If Audley has not shit'd himself on the way to the ring and shows up in fighting shape this is going the way of Thompson V Price Banks V Mitchell

Given Wilder's history of opponents, I doubt he'd be matched with someone who recently dropped him twice.

How can Audley win the prizefighter but when it comes to other fights he freezes and shits himself?
This guy is untested and never fought anyone as high as Audley but why will he freeze and fukc it up?

Re: Deontay Wilder v/s Audley Harrison
Wilder hasn't been dropped by 'bums'; he was dropped once in his pro career, by Harold Sconiers, and once in his amateur career, by former world amateur champion Evgenyi Romanov. I don't see much shame in either occurance, as great fighters like Andre Ward have been dropped and hurt by Sconiers type opponents, and the Romanov is a very good fighter. The 1bangkid wrote:This gentlemen sums up what I think of Wilder.......... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tsb6PKk7IKA
The criticism in the video is also based mainly on Wilder's opposition, rather than specific flaws Wilder may have as a fighter. Facing poor opposition doesn't mean a fighter is poor; it means their opponents are generally poor, and obviously Wilder is much better than the opponents he's faced.
As far as his abilities are concerned, why do you think Wilder is a joke? The 'gentlemen' didn't present much of a case on that topic.

I don't blame you, if his still there after round 4 his going to do it !The 1bangkid wrote:I am Not all my money but thinking of putting a Ton on Audley by KOjessi wrote:Well theres an old saying in life "put up or shut up" if everyone's that confident that wilder is crap put as much money as you can afford on audley to beat him !The 1bangkid wrote:This gentlemen sums up what I think of Wilder.......... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tsb6PKk7IKA
Re: Deontay Wilder v/s Audley Harrison
ive just checked the odds on sky bet wilder is 1/10 favourite with harrison at 11/2 harrison, a harrison ko isnt up yet but for the odds £50 on a harrison ko is going to get you a pretty penny.jessi wrote:Well theres an old saying in life "put up or shut up" if everyone's that confident that wilder is crap put as much money as you can afford on audley to beat him !The 1bangkid wrote:This gentlemen sums up what I think of Wilder.......... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tsb6PKk7IKA

im just uneasy being confident about a 27-0 record based on worse opps than David Rodriquez has faced.

Re: Deontay Wilder v/s Audley Harrison
People are getting far too excited about this. All Audley has done since David Price destroyed him in seconds, is stop a complete unknown, keep old Martin Rogan on the end of his jab for 3 rounds, and stop a totally spent C grade heavyweight in Derric Rossy in the Prizefighter final. Quite why anyone really expects Audley to make it even 3 rounds with this top American really beggers belief!

Okay, feasibly he could turn out like another Michael Grant, who knows. But Audley is 41 and has a habit of either folding quickly or at least getting very passive against big punchers.

If Audley remembers to throw a punch this time he might get a stoppage. Got a feeling Wilder's been protected for a reason.

Wilder is another Hatton, devastating at a certain lower level, but step him up and he gets beat or struggles.

Re: Deontay Wilder v/s Audley Harrison
Has there been a time during his pro career where Audley has responded to someone decent and that came to fight by putting up a good performance? I think he will be remembered as a guy who throughout his pro career, always folded when the going got tough. Its a shame, but that is how I see it.

Re: Deontay Wilder v/s Audley Harrison
And I don't know where Audley's rep as any kind of big puncher comes from. His stoppages tend to come against worn out fighters or nobodies. He is effectively a non-puncher at proper world-level.si7dog7 wrote:Michael Grant was gamepolecateddy wrote:Okay, feasibly he could turn out like another Michael Grant, who knows.
