Sailor White, Maybe Jim

Post by Cowseatmaize »

I'll not post links so I don't get banned again but I'm wondering if anyone has information connecting this man or any other to a liniment maker from the 30's- 40's.
I collect bottles and have been trying to piece this together. The best I can figure is he may have been a "strong man" act and a boxer but all the "strongest man in the Navy" research comes up with so many possibilities also. Same with "Sailor White".
Sailor White could be one of at least 4 and an original name could be Ignatius Neubauer (not an alias), maybe a Lt, Dr. or both in the same.
Of coarse there is a lot more online but the info I've come up with could be found by searching "sailor white liniment". It's a forum for antique bottles I help moderate. I just can't transfer it all over here and don't want to post links again. There are actually two separate posts from a couple years apart. That's how long I've been trying and I still have a lot of stuff filed on my computer.
Hopefully this may fill in some of the blanks of the "Sailor Jim White" you have listed on your site and help me figure out which one I'm looking into.
I know this is rather scattered info but without reading my other inquiries it's hard to make sense of all of it.
Anyway, thank you and whether you know any more or not, thanks for putting up with my rambling.
Eric

I posted a few picture from the site I mentioned above. I'd like to post a link to the project also if it OK. I understand if it's not but there are several pages that would be hard to transfer.
Thanks, Eric
