Its funny how Floyd Mayweather can act like an arse 90% of the time but on the 10% occasions when he does seem quite humble,people are quick to say he,s a good person??? If you don't, then you can't say what he is like, you can only judge what you think he is like from the things you read, the interviews and the 24/7 type programs. All you see is the boxing persona and that is all. Mayweather let's you see what he wants you to see and that's enough footage of him so you watch his fights.

He clearly is a twat,anyone who makes people wait around for them without a care for what their doing,all the boxing reporters and journalists and fans sitting waiting all day for him,he does it constantly,is it only bad if Justin Bieber does that? even when he apolagised he was laughing saying he couldnt promise it wont happen again he clearly couldnt care less about his fans,everytime he has a fight announced he says he,ll be fighting 2,3 times a year when you know it will only be once if we,re lucky AND he played his part in not making the biggest fight in the world happen(as did Manny)As i said he is my favourite fighter today but he couldnt give a damn about me or anyone.i remember when he fought Ricky Hatton,he was saying he,ll one day fight in UK knowing fine well he,ll never fight outside US,he just tells people what they want to hear and people so want to believe him they lap it up

He was making Guerrero wait and that was the whole point of the excersise. Like i said and you say it yourself, he just says what he does and acts the way he does because he wants people to tune in to see the fight. It was obvious that he would never fight in the UK, but he isn't going to say that when he is being interviewed by Kirsty Gallagher. Likewise, he needs 12 months to stage a fight so he can have a rest, build up the fight and let's be honest here, he doesn't need to fight more than once a year. All this is criticism of Floyd the fighter, not Floyd the private man, because you don't know what Floyd the private man is all about. The "Money" character is a panto villain which he brings out around fight time and so far it has done well by him. I bet if we were to meet Floyd face to face we would be suprised how normal he actually is, but modern day media events require a saleman these days and Floyd certainly knows how to sell a fight.

I think Ali's stuff was definately tongue in cheek, where as Floyd is better at teh more menacing aspects of the hype stuff, but never the less, it's still hype. Broner is a complete A1 dikwad lol, i would certainly agree with you there. Floyd has a few sides to his personality and some interviews when he is being less of the "money" character are rivetting and expose a guy with real feelings and a great understanding of life and the human condition. Broner on the hand is like a recod player that has got stuck. I never said Floyd was a lovely bloke, but neither would i say he was some monster guy will pure evil in his heart either. The term "battery" and the legal system in America is akin to expensive parking fines over here in the UK. It's all about making money. Which would you choose ? A relatively small (for Floyd) cash payment and a month in jail or a full trial and a long prison sentence if found guilty. Again, we don't know what really happenned, but the term "battery! in America can be if you push someone, which is hardly the image that the term "battery" gives out. Floyd is the panto villain and if people like him, they go along with all the shenanegans and if they don't like him, he's nothing short of complete and utter garbage. I prefer to acknowlege the more abrasive sides to his character, whilst also seeing decent things about him. I don't like panto
