Bowe? Lewis?
They fought quite a few rounds all told. Surely we can come to concensus on this.

Very skilfully.:)The Dark Destroyer wrote:Riddick Bowe.
Lewis didn't have time to show any skills as he bombed him out inside two minutes.

John L, I actually love this one. And yes, the answer is just as obvious.
No mitigation. And of course Golata was nothing if not a very consistent fighter.
As long as we can agree on the definition of "consisitent".

Well I tried to find another world class HW on Bowes' resume besides Holyfield, and Golota was as close as I could get.BoxBuzz wrote:John L, I actually love this one. And yes, the answer is just as obvious.

I thought Bowe won, guess I need to see it again sometime. Still considering that he had only been a pro for two years, he should get some credit for taking a risk like that.
Actually, Biggs, Cooper, Seldon, and Coezter were decent good competition for a young fighter on his way up.
Donald, Hide, Golota, and Gonzalez werer all undefeated when Bowe fought them.
Don't recall people saying that Bowe was just fighting stiffs when he was active.

He won; which is better than getting knocked out by Hasim Rahman.
Ok, I'll bite. Was the competition that Lewis fought that much better and if so, why?

If the objective was to win 3 of 10 rounds, he beat his ass something fierce.
