I'm suggesting that any professional fighter with the number of fights that Lewis had, has taken enough punishment in fights (amateur and pro) as well as in sparring to incur brain damage if the fighter is predisposed for it. To measure a fighter based on his condition after his fighting years is retarded.
Especially when all you have to do is watch the defenseless Bowe in one of his few fights against an opponent who could actually fight. Good luck finding a Bowe fight where his opponent was a big puncher, because those guys were avoided at all costs.
Exactly. Well stated that man, which is why he ( Bowe ) has ended up punchy.
As to the other guy. The only retards are people who gob off about Lewis, that know nothing whatsoever about how he trained and fought. I suggest you do some research before making yourself look an idiot.
You could start by reading what Steward had to say about LL. He will never say he was a dedicated trainer, what he will say is he was a great listener, and easily picked up the technical advice Manny gave him. Lewis did not go to Steward to work on condition, and stamina, and spar hundreds of rounds, to prepare for fights, he went to improve his power, and technique.
Lewis was in fact a sloppy trainer, only doing enough preparation to fight to his game plan.[/quote]
LL fan though I was, that always drove me crazy. It cost him against Rahman and fortunately didn't against Vitali.
