Damn I only just caught the end of that! Fury is doing a good job of selling this. Sometimes he sounds dumb, sometimes he's pretty funny. If Cunningham didn't have brother Naz in his corner I'd be picking Fury, but I think he'll have a good game plan for Fury who lets face it is still unproven and looked terrible up until a couple of fights ago. I think this fight is a lot closer than some people are giving credit. Looking forward to it.

Cunningham went for the earphones on his smartphone - listening to all that guff is only going to unsettle you and make you nervous but when there's only 2 people in the ring and the talking counts for nothing, that's the only time it matters.

Experience. Not every fighter at heavyweight is a 6'4"+ monolith. There are Povetkins and Adameks and Chagaevs and Haye (who I think will be a future opponent) out there, guys who are basically cruiserweights. Cunningham is the smallest of all of those names, but he can probably hang with all of them even if they'd all probably beat him. Everyone thinks he beat Adamek already, right? Then he should be top 5. I only caught the second half of that fight so I didn't score it, but I thought Cunningham looked fragile as a heavyweight so I do think Tyson should overpower him. But it's good prep for some of the other top 10 guys. And if he loses, well, Cunningham is a good fighter. Lets see how far he can go. I like him.

Experience is the key and it may well prove valid, I agree.

Cunningham is supposedly 6'3" so not exactly short for HW, Chisora for instance is 6'1½".

I'd like to see Fury perform, but I think it will be a close fight.

I can also see Haye v Fury sometime soon. Win or lose, both fighters and team will make a lot of money. A loss to Cunningham here though, would leave Mick and Tyson seriously handicapped.

Cunningham has the eye of the tiger. He seems a good guy, determined to make the most of the (deserved) second opportunity he is getting after putting up a great show against Adamek. He has good skills, and whilst very light for a heavy (a by-product of training hard and coming into the ring in fantastic condition), at 6ft 3in is a good height. He also has a world-class trainer on his side.

I'll be honest - I don't like Fury.....at all. Personally, I think he is an overrated thug. I don't buy any of this "he's a nice, funny guy really". He comes across as arrogant and unpleasant. More importantly, for somebody ranked in the top 10, he has fought nobody of real note (his best win being against an out of shape Chisora). Cunningham, on the other hand, has fought world-class opposition at both cruiserweight and heavyweight. Adamek, who he effectively beat last time out, is miles better than anybody Tyson Fury has had fed to him.

I think, and hope, that USS wins this by close but clear decision.

Have to admit, I've not seen enough of Cunningham. For some reason I just never seen any of his fights so I'm going in quite cold into what he is like. Is this likely to be Fury's toughest test to date?

I think Fury wins handily. Aside from his last fight with Adamek, Cunningham's looked poor for years, and I don't think he'll be able to cope with Fury's size long enough to win.

Cunningham's also been dropped and/or seriously hurt multiple times at CW (he was almost knocked out in both fights with Hernandez), so I won't be surprised if he's stopped.

I agree. If it wasn't for Tyson at this press conference then it would be a snooze fest! I'd love to see a massive KO in this one

I think Fury might struggle to land cleanly. If he can find him in the fight he wins...and might make it look easy. But I think he might not find it tricky to land something flush.

Completely disagree. Johnson (who let's face it, has not beaten anybody of note in his entire career), was in opponent mode. 6 months previously, he couldn't even win Prizefighter. Whilst Chisora was out of shape, he came to win and gave Tyson some tough moments. He was much sturdier opposition in my view.

Plus if Chisora suddenly announced a bout against Johnson for say June or July then I'd definitely be backing Dereck to win. Even if he did rock up a stone overweight against Fury his workrate didn't seem to be affected that much.

I have to concede I do find it amusing when Fury comes out with lines that he expects to be hilarious and is just greeted with abject silence and a few po faced looks. That 'commentary of what will happen during the fight' is a perfect example, just didn't get anything from the audience
