Is Nottingham gonna haunt Ryan Aston again ?

Post by damianhucker1 »

Matchroom prospect Ryan Aston takes on Nottinghams Gilson De Jesus on Saturday on the Rose Undercard .

Aston previously lost his unbeaten Record to Nottinghams Curtis Valantine by stoppage

He followed that up by suffering a Technical Draw vs another Nottingham boxer in Tyan Booth .

So its interesting that he faces a 3rd Nottingham opponent , one who i personally believe is the better of the 3 despite his record , at least in terms of boxing ability , im guessing hes not much of a ticket seller as although ive met him several times i dont really know him as such so i can only assume that its the reason hes been in the away corner in most fights .

Aston should win this on paper but if he loses he will hate the city of Nottingham im sure and his career would be certainly not looking as bright as it did previous to boxing the first of his trio of nottingham foes .

Valentine is Dangerous and Booth very frustrating and unorthodox. If Ryan can't beat Gilson it may be time to reevaluate his goals and career as a boxer.

the problem for aston is being with matchroom their ay many shows in the midlands so he has to travel meaning people dont wanna buy tickets to travel hours away unless its family or very close mates his been on some amazing shows tho. i know he sud hav been on the welter pf undercard in wolvo but had to pull out due to a cut re-opening.

in regards to the 3 notts lads i expect him to win against Gilson De Jesus.
valentine dragged him into a war and he took some massive shots b4 the towel came him.he sud have stuck to his boxing but he will learn from that.
booth is dodgy with his head as cello randa will tell u imo aston was winning the fight b4 the cut

Gilson is a tough customer when in the mood.

Seen him get the nod over Barrow's Liam Conroy late last year.

He can definitely box. I've seen him three times I think, and I was very impressed, he uses the ring space well.
