Not really a big loss to be fair in my opinion. Bit of a plonker!

Why's he stopped? Used to find his videos genuinely amusing.

He is now going back to his first love of spending all his time playing computer games and making videos about that, which doesnt cost money or eat into his family life at all i should imagine
He felt he was getting too emotionally involved after starting to cry during his Audley Harrison v Deontay Wilder prediction video.

I always thought they should have got him on proper telly especially after his youtube row with steve bunce, i found him, knowledgeable and quirky but inoffensive. I like bunce but he can be quite argumentative.

He was harmless but I feel he was the kid that wanted to be loved at school, was last pick for footie and used to give away sweets to make friends, he found youtube and boxing as a big biys sport gave him big boy freinds and followers, I though he was a bit of a sado and felt sorry for him .... harmless though
Re: Does anyone follow Wingy on youtube?
There's plenty of plonkers in boxing. He was ok, just doing what he wanted to do. Nothing wrong with that.slapbangwhallop wrote:Not really a big loss to be fair in my opinion. Bit of a plonker!

I watched a bit of one vid, got nothing from it and am genuinely puzzled as to how people manage to watch a load of these vids day in and day out. It is bad enough having to watch Ringside and The Boxing Hour, let alone this shite.

Re: Does anyone follow Wingy on youtube?
Why did he say he quit?
Re: Does anyone follow Wingy on youtube?
he pretty cool guy.
most his followers were boxing fans anyway. was excellent at breaking things down and gave solid post fight breakdowns.
he stopped as he said he cant enjoy boxing as he was over analysing stuff in fights which took away the entertainment, which i understand,
he cant be that bad if he had so many followers!!!
wish him well

Dont know if you've ever watched 'Hatman's' videos? He's one of if not the best amateur boxing analysts on youtube! Very good at breaking down fights I think.macaca wrote:He was harmless but I feel he was the kid that wanted to be loved at school, was last pick for footie and used to give away sweets to make friends, he found youtube and boxing as a big biys sport gave him big boy freinds and followers, I though he was a bit of a sado and felt sorry for him .... harmless though

Nobody will ever replace the infamous duo of Boxing4Real aka Don Omega and IronTruth.
When they stopped making videos and had a bust-up, it signalled the end of YouTube Boxing.
