Gerald Mclellean vs. Roy Jones Jr.

Post by Grimm »

If anyone could do it, it would have to be Mclellean.

Wouldn't it?

I've said that all along. I still think a Prime Jones wins a UD. But if they fought 10 times McClellan would win 2 or 3 whereas no one else at the time would even come close to winning one!

Jones would definitely outbox him. However, it wouldn't surprise me if Gerald put Roy on his butt for a six or seven count.

I would have to go with the G-man. Jones chin has been exposed twice by good foghters, nothing brilliant. The G man was a ferocious hitter but with speed and accuracy. He was better than Tarver and Johnson. Jones would't be doing enough to keep the G man away and once Gerald connects clean it's by bye Roy as Gerald was an amazing finisher

I think if Mclellan put Jones down than Jones wouldn't get back up.

That's probably his only chance though.
