I seldom use such a phrase, but 'LOL'.
Please Povetkin fans come out and defend his latest opponent: Andrzej Wawrzyk.
This man is not a world champion.
He has yet to box a world championship calibre opponent, yet his 'defences' already tally a higher number than men would beat him and all his opponents on one night.
Awful doesn't do justice.

His last opponent (very overweight, totally shot Rahman) was probably worse.

I was about to say, that version of Rahman is definitely the worst heavyweight title challenger I can think of, not counting WBO defences.crusader wrote:His last opponent (very overweight, totally shot Rahman) was probably worse.

You're right, not counting WBO that Hasim Rahman was the absolute worst ever. He even limped to the ring as I recall.
That being said - this unknown challenger may yet surpass him!

Povetkin's belt, in anybody's right mind, can not be described as a 'world championship'. It's lower than a WBO title fight in my opinion.
