Why are you attaching such importance to a listing on BoxRec, the same website that 'revealed' his opponent to be Manuel Charr, which isn't the case (yet)?

Haye is still fighting on the 29th, he didn't get the opponent he wanted, namely Andrew Wawrzyk.

Manuel Charr, Malik Scott and Eddie Chambers have tweeted they want the fight.

Who will David Haye choose?

He's posted a picture of himself doing squats not 5 mins ago on facebook saying he's getting in shape ready for the 29th. Boxrec have posted two false opponents this time round yet when he was fighting chisora they refused to list the fight.

Calm down guys just because boxrec don't have or do have a fight up doesn't mean anything until the official announcements.

Why would anyone want to pay to watch Haye smash some turkey like Wawrzyk?

He should fight Fury.

Has it been offered?

It could be the biggest money fight available to him. Risk vs reward wise it might be the best fight to make.

He won't want to fight a puncher who doesn't hold a title.

Why does there need to be a title on the line? It is a big fight without one.

It makes a lot more sense than the possible Fury vs Pulev fight that has been talked about.

I would always pay the little bit extra for hotel cancellation option. These bigger fights seem to get delayed alot.

I think he would take it to be honest! Its the only that he would take and risk his ranking with the IBF. He knows how big a money a fight it could be.

There wasn't enough money on the table at the time. If Price had got past Thompson I think Fury would have taken the fight.

There will be more money in a fight against Haye than in a fight against Price.

I would be very happy to see the two chinny punchers in the ring. If Fury uses a jab and his height he will ko Haye.

Pulev beats them both.

I think he was advised to continue with the american route rather than take what was perceived as a high risk fight this early in his career which wouldnt have the same pay off. At the end of the day Fury had the fight with cunningham on the cards i could only understand people saying he was ducking price if he fought some nobody instead.

Ultimately i think Fury would have wiped Price out anyway, if they had known Price was going to get ko'd in 2 by a tap im sure Fury would have been advised to take the fight. You have to remember boxing is a business and he has taken the best route to secure his livelihood, if Price had made it past Thompson we would have been onto an even bigger event if the two were to meet.

Also a good point to note is cunningham may well have beaten Price on saturday if he had been the opponent.
