Ronnie "The Shark" Clark v Ryan Walsh
Ronnie "The Shark" Clark v Ryan Walsh
Very good offer made to Walsh for 15th of June in Dundee due to Ronnie needing to fight on his promotors home show in Dundee. Walsh now saying hes made an offer to fight in Norwich knowing Ronnie cant due to Home show. Hes been offered more to fight in Dundee.Boy is a complete liar with him having a manager and then saying he represents himself. Clueless. Have a look on twitter at some of his nonsense and avoiding. Tony Lindie will confirm everything and every offer with him approaching the manager who has refused 3 times, fight offered june, august and september in Dundee. #askmervyn
Re: Ronnie "The Shark" Clark v Ryan Walsh
No offer has been made from Mervyn for Ronnie to fight in Norwich that night. I think Ryan is running scared after clearly getting a hometown decision down in Norwich first time. Offered career high purse and also putting his brother on the show. I think he is trying to keep face.

All you have to do is ask him how much he wants to fight in Dundee and come up with the money and the fight will be on simples
Re: Ronnie "The Shark" Clark v Ryan Walsh
Tony Lindie contacted Mervyn Turner on Thursday to offer Ryan the fight v Ronnie. Mervyn said he was happy with the purse/terms and was happy because he had too many fighters for his show in June. He said the fight would more or less be agreed then called on the Friday to say that Ryan can't and that he was fighting in Norwich the same night? Said he would fight Ronnie but didn't make an offer. Tony then offered to move the Dundee show 2-3 weeks to allow this show to happen. Again was told no. Offered a fight in September and October and on both occasions Mervyn said no.
Ryan said on Twitter that he would take the fight in Dundee now he only wants to fight in Norwich. There is no offer for Ronnie to fight in Norwich. There is text proof and I was there for the phone call. Ronnie went to Norwich and got a draw surely its only fair for Ryan to come to Dundee!! The twitter stuff is crazy. Calling Ronnie a coward and he can't see it because Ryan has him blocked. I actually used to be a fan of the Walsh brother and thought they would fight anyone clearly just want to fight knock overs in Norwich

Clark lost the decision in my eyes¬ just saying it coz im a Norfolk lad,he lost fair&square...
Re: Ronnie "The Shark" Clark v Ryan Walsh
Mate that's fair enough in your eyes but the footage was put up on here and most people thought Ronnie won by 2 or 3 rounds. As you said I'm a Dundee lad and your Norfolk so a bit biased. But when a respected Boxrec reporter watches the video back and says he was wrong and Ronnie won the fight you know that you may have got it wrong.
It was a close fight but Ronnie won by 2 or 3 rounds according to the neutrals.. Ryan has been offered a career high wage and we have also offered to have Michael on the bill can't really say any fairer than that?? Ryan would get knocked out in the rematch and I think he knows that Ronnie had a weeks notice for that fight and wasnt at his best. Ryan fought out his skin. Maybe he will grow a pair and take the fight and not mouth off on twitter but I doubt it

Re: Ronnie "The Shark" Clark v Ryan Walsh
Tony Lindie should just copy all the texts and release them for everyone to see. Too much bullshit in boxing, lets out people for what they are. Ryan has no respect for Ronnie and talks a good game and is constantly shouting from the rooftops Ronnie needs to get minerals to go to Norwich, Already been ha, clown. I like Liam alot and Ryan is trying to talk the fight onto Liam now:P Says it all.
Re: Ronnie "The Shark" Clark v Ryan Walsh
Any fight can be made if the money is right
Re: Ronnie "The Shark" Clark v Ryan Walsh
He's been offered a lot more than he has ever made and its not even a title fight. His manager accepted the money so its not that.

Re: Ronnie "The Shark" Clark v Ryan Walsh
From most of the posts surrounding Ronnie Clark the uk boxing business sounds a complete nightmare.
There must be. Lot of good prospects who just pack up and get a job due to all the shite they have to put up with to get fights.
Good luck

Maybe it would be better if Ronnie was a shitebag with no ability then people would be queuing round the block and the phone would be ringing of the hook for people suddenly brave enough to fight him
It really tells you something when boxers who have lost 95% of their bouts get more fights and airtime than talented, unbeaten fighters
Only in boxing eh :x

Re: Ronnie "The Shark" Clark v Ryan Walsh
Not a walsh supporter, and perhaps the Walsh name is blown up as they are 3 brothers in the boxing world, which dosent occur to often,im sure they will all get there chances hand picked for sure, but too be fair Ronnie has had oppurtunities walsh/harrison/simpson ive heard, all not accepted true or false im not 100% sure, but the bandwagan is a bit of a joke now,Jamie M or David dee are defo up for the bumboy nominations
dont do much for the cause either, theres only 1 man in the square circle ;)saying that im sure if walsh comes to the Dundee ice rink it will be a great night for Ronnie
Re: Ronnie "The Shark" Clark v Ryan Walsh
We tell truth on what is going on and wont hide back any lies, thats a fact, John Simpson was offered to Ronnie your right but at short notice and who in there right mind jumps in to fight a title level fighter without the maximum preperation? There has never been an offer for Harrison for Ronnie as Harrison cant make Superfeather. As for Liam Walsh its open that Ronnie got a hand injury. Trust me when I say its not all rosey in garden with Ronnie, we dont blow smoke up his arse we pay the same as anyone else to go see him and when we dont believe that hes taking a great fight we tell him and go straight to point. Most of stuff we say is in banter and laugh most off but the whole Ryan Walsh situation is a bit of a joke. Saying he wants the fight in Dundee then refusing then denying it all on twitter. Calling Ronnie a coward for not going to Norwich( when hes already been) saying Ronnie faked injury with Liam when Medical proof was offered. Making out as if he was robbed worse than pacman v bradley in 1st fight. Ill never claim to be a boxing expert and most of stuff I know is local but the ducking in boxing is very boring and I hate going to see Prospects V Journeyman in every single fight. That includes Ronnie and Dundee Shows. Just hopefully we can get some competitive fights and maybe show Dundee people that boxing is not all 1 sided affairs:)
Re: Ronnie "The Shark" Clark v Ryan Walsh
Square circle?? Think you have been watching too much WWE while playing your Xbox!! Jamie has answered your questions but I could go a bit more in detail.. The John Simpson fight was just put as an idea. Ronnie wanted the fight and made a counter offer to put a rematch clause I'm at no time did John Simpson want this fight as rightly he wants bigger fights!! He deserves that!! Scott Harrison was talked about and didn't really get going as Peter said he didn't want to go down that route which is fair enough!! Liam Walsh Jamie has hit the nail on the head!! Ronnie has just got back into training last night and is on the rehabilitation process so no way he could of took that fight. But that fight can happen any time now and Ronnie wants that one!! As for Bum boys I'm sure you know all about that Daniel. Ronnie is my brother but we tell him straight if we think he's not fought to his best or anything end of the day we will be transparent maybe boxing doesn't like honesty??DanielGraham73 wrote:Not a walsh supporter, and perhaps the Walsh name is blown up as they are 3 brothers in the boxing world, which dosent occur to often,im sure they will all get there chances hand picked for sure, but too be fair Ronnie has had oppurtunities walsh/harrison/simpson ive heard, all not accepted true or false im not 100% sure, but the bandwagan is a bit of a joke now,Jamie M or David dee are defo up for the bumboy nominationsdont do much for the cause either, theres only 1 man in the square circle ;)saying that im sure if walsh comes to the Dundee ice rink it will be a great night for Ronnie

Re: Ronnie "The Shark" Clark v Ryan Walsh
I have watched Ronnie box in Dundee on several occasions the crowd have always been terrific, but as a ticket purchaser we want to see a good fight, both will agree that time is ticking, ideally your looking for a top 6 ranking fight to get up there,Ryan Walsh will no doubt excuse the Fight..I see Ben Jones name being mentioned sounds ideal but I hear there not on best of terms with your team,as you rejected the Fight?again word of mouth, but has the blue prints for a good night
Re: Ronnie "The Shark" Clark v Ryan Walsh
Daniel I don't know who your word of mouth is but can assure you it was Ben Jones's people who turned down the fight. Ben Jones would be ideal step up fight!! His team turned it down as they are going to have him in a ticking over fight in June(date not set). People gossip sometimes without knowing the facts. Walsh fight is dead in the water. Both him and Ben Jones turned down big pay days!! Hopefully he can get a top name fighter with a good record got to look beyond uk now!!DanielGraham73 wrote:I have watched Ronnie box in Dundee on several occasions the crowd have always been terrific, but as a ticket purchaser we want to see a good fight, both will agree that time is ticking, ideally your looking for a top 6 ranking fight to get up there,Ryan Walsh will no doubt excuse the Fight..I see Ben Jones name being mentioned sounds ideal but I hear there not on best of terms with your team,as you rejected the Fight?again word of mouth, but has the blue prints for a good night

I don't know either boxer but it seems to me that Clark went to Norwich to box Walsh who was 14-0 (how many would do that ?) so it seems reasonable to me that after a draw that Walsh boxes a return in Scotland.
This seems reasonable to me - and would show that he has the same balls as Clark.

I agree Bripez but im afraid boxing dosent work on fair terms,it seems as though Walsh wants the rematch down there again!!!best moving on now Ronnie, domestically you have Roberts Jnr??? Cacase,Jones,Walsh,Foster Appleby back training surely there's a good match up in there
