He has served up a crap fight publicised it by saying its a laugh in Kell Brooks face in his home town.
Way to make people from Sheffield come out.

he's made an irrelevence of himself that's for sure. Must be embarrassing for him, losing 2 world title fights in a row then having to go back and mix it up with nobodies for no reason other than to regain self confidence.

I wonder how long he spends fighting bums in meaningless fights aswell, long enough for Rios, Alvarado, Matthysse, Lamont, Garcia & Broner to... uhm... retire? Or does he shamelessy bodyswerve them all in a GBP cherry picked route to a title like they have had the brass neck to do with Broner?

I'm not a big fan of Khan the person but Khan the boxer I do like and is my top 3 UK boxers to watch.

Someone said ok not great. Audley would added numbers in London but not Sheffield.

I think it would be an acceptable fight if this was his comeback fight from the Garcia loss.... indeed it would probably be considered a decent fight..... but its not.

Julio Diaz aint bad, a former world champion etc. It compares favourably to Yusef Mack (just about), but then Khan aint on a Froch run of opponent before that.... patience is wearing thin.

Having said that, a bit stunned at the poster who said "every fight since Maidana have been gimmie's"..... I seriously hope geniune big four unification clashes aren't considered Gimmie's - unless you've have got a Floyd Mayweather air of dominance and the other champion are seriously proven level B fighter (and I don't think Judah or Garcia were that).

Floyd Mayweather vs Paulie Malignaggi would be a dissapointing Gimmie - but not many other unification matches that would be.

It's quite an 'interesting' card to be fair, not sure it commands the ticket prices however.

Jack Caterall is on there and is a decent prospect coming through. I will look forward to seeing him fighting.

No, I don't agree with you at all that that must be embarrassing.

Having to take such a drastic step back from the world title scene & into obscurity, particularly when you have the ability Khan has, would certainly hurt my pride. What did he say to Bradley again? Think it was something about growing some balls. Maybe Khan should shrink his balls down to Bradleys size & fight Pacquiao & Provodnikov.

Everybody might as well pack in now then in that case. Ever lost a fight? Ever had to go back to the drawing board? Well you're a bum and and embarrassment, especially if you have ability. This is basically a throw any old insults at Amir Khan thread. That lad basically won an Olympic medal and then spent a few years juggling two different cultures and at 18yr old did a pretty bloody good job if you ask me. Soon as he puts a Pakistani gumshield in to go with his Union Jack shorts or gets knocked out he can p*ss off to the USA and good riddance for some. Aside from running his car into some chap - not exactly Naseem Hamed now was it, I like both the boxer and the guy. Getting rocked to his boots by Maidana and winning the fight he essentially shut the "chinny Khan gang" up, but you can't win with some people.
Even if only 3,000 people come to watch him - which it won't be, it will be a lot more than that, they'll be fans too so I doubt will really give a toss if they're aren't 12,000 there.

Hell i even bought his book qued up and got him to sign it.
I was a fan but how anyone can support him now is beyond me .
His crimes are numerous and well documented so I will leave it there.

And one more thing with all that dough you would think he could sort your old mans teeth out.

I like Khan, the sport is better & more entertaining for it. I hope within the next year or 2 he gets a crack at Mayweather aswell, it's a winnabel fight for him imo.

Yes he is. But his grandparents/ parents aren't. The lad is a Brit but he is dual-heritage. Going on an Olympic run and losing out at the last hurdle to the best around, as the sole boxer sent to the games, then turning pro a Muslim a largely un-Muslim country and appealing to people across the board with none of these fancy PR course nonsense some so called top-footballers get and still come across like pondweed- on the back of the Twin Towers - okay I know that isn't the argument in the thread but imo with the car incident aside - he has always come across to me as a decent, likeable lad.
Amir Khan's main crimes are being talented/ famous/ rich/ getting beat and........I could go on.

Khan is alright

I used to fancy that Kell might beat him with some powerful accurate shots, were they to ever meet - however having seen them recently on the sofa together on Ringside, it's clear who was exuding the more confidence to me. I think Khan in that one but would be a great event.
