Glad you agree it's a close fight. Williams was unlucky against Norris the first time and won a belt late in his career (which he promptly lost). He had good power (better than Cunningham) and good boxing skills (though not as good as Cunningham). I'd take Cunningham also.

Yeah I could see Williams possibly dropping Cunningham in the fight to make it that much closer too. Cunningham has a good chin, and pretty good defense so it's equally likely that he wouldn't be dropped, but it's certainly not out of the question.

I saw Williams mostly at the tail end of his career, I could tell even from that that he would've been a pretty solid fighter in his Prime.

Well, Adamek dropped SSS three times in one fight, so he could be dropped. Hernandez also did it, as did Ross.
As for Williams, I'd highly recommend his first fight with Norris. Excellent stuff.

Well despite my controversial "interview" with USS I actually hold him to high esteem. Very well conditioned highly determined and courageous man who don't know the meaning of quit or surrender. He decisions Williams in a close and well performed and competitive contest.
