Baku, Azerbaijan to Kiev, Ukraine is probably like NYC to Orlando, FL or a 2 hour plane ride as they won't be walking. :P

I have been to Azerbaijan twice with US teams. Once for the Aliyev cup and once for the World cup. We flew from NY to Frankfurt, Germany and then to Baku. I have never been to Ukraine, though I would love to go to Odessa which is on the Black Sea and is supposed to be really nice. You'll probably be in the capital Kiev. The junior team will not be going to Azerbaijan from Ukraine.

Ok just found out Juniors Team Usa will be going to Umam ,Ukraine for the Victory day Tournament. Can't find any info on this event, has anybody been there?

Junior World team got first sparring in at camp yesterday. The Juniors get to spar with The Elite Men Team. Very good works for team Usa. Sparring again on Friday. Just found out Team Usa gets Automatic bids straight To National Junior Olympics in June, gonna be interesting see how Team does there with the expertise training of The Famous Cuban Coach Pedro Rogue Otano

Team Usa is about done with Hard training and take off for Ukraine Tuesday, first fights scheduled on Thursday.I'm going go out on a limb and pick Jr Team Usa to win at Least 3 Golds in Ukraine. Claressa Shields 2012 Olympic Gold, is in camp with Jr team so maybe she has provided team with boost

Good Job of Team Usa of winning 3 Golds at Victory tournament. Team Usa is actually going to National Jr Olympic as a Team, gonna be interesting if this will provide extra motivation for other kids to try n upset Team Usa members. I'm hearing Team Usa has a Mayweather Jr like kid in the confidence department lol, hear this kid is ultra confident. Gonna be very ,very, very interesting happenings at 119.

Kid take off for Jr Olympics Tomorrow. Gonna be very interesting to see how many Team Usa members make it thru Without a loss. One Team Usa member lost yesterday at Addidas Tournament ,Javier Estrada lost at 145 to a kid name Rodriguez I believe is his last name. Jr World Tournament in Ukraine has been rescheduled from mid August to September 5 - 15. It may be hard for sum kids to maintain same weights , the qualifying tournament was held way back in January.Hard for some growing boys to keep same weight for 8 months

Wow! 8 kids that were #1ranked get knocked off at Jr Olympics. Congrats to the New #1 boxers in Usa, going be fun to see if any team Usa members can regain thier #1 rankings. Junior World Team is in 3 rd day of Camp at Olympic Training Center. Senor Coach Pedro is making big difference with Team Usa. This is already the 3rd camp this year For Jr World Team. The kids get to spar with Older kids from the Youth Team Usa , this will make the kids overall better. Kids have 6 weeks to get ready for Jr World Championships in Ukraine September 5-15.Team should haul in A Good Medal Count in Ukraine

Hearing that Shakur Stevenson is loo king the best in camp he Probably is best chance for Gold medal at World Juniors. Daniel Gonzalez is another possible good chance for medal at Worlds as is a kid who just turned 15 if he do focuses on task at hand

Who is on the current USA World Team ? I heard some kids got bumped off because they could not keep their fighting weight - is this true ?

Go to Usa boxing .com tells you who is on Team. They had the qualifying tournament way back in early January, its hard for growing boys to maintain same weight for 8 months. A couple of kids couldn't hold the weight anymore snd unfortunately lost their spots on Team Usa

I would like to see the progress of these young fighters, and most of all to see if the new coach is making a big difference. Shakur Stevenson and Danny Gonzalez are already good fighters in competitive weight classes, and are a huge asset to the USA team. Are there other national kids still on the team ?

I can try and remember. Jordan White at 106, New kid at 110, Shakur Stevenson 114, Devin Haney 119, Michael Nelson 125, not sure 132, Bandon Trejo 138, Javier Estrada 145, Alexis Rochoa 154 ,Erick Murgia 165, Suray Mahmutovic 176 and Pano tiatia at 176 plus. I forget the two new kids names. Haney and Mahmutovic just turning 15 and are really young. Senor Pedro Roque is the most proactive coach I have ever seen in any sport. He really takes his job seriously.

Im sorry, Danny Gonzalez is on the team , how could I have forget? All the kids except Haney and Mahmutovic will be old enough for 2016 Olympics. Really interesting to see how team does at World Juniors next month. Tomorrow is last day of 3 week camp, team comes home Thursday for family time then bsck to camp

Team is off today for Olympic Training Center for 4 days, Then off to Italy to work with their Elite team for about 10 days then off To Ukraine for Jr World Championships Sept 5 - 15. Danny Gonzales is back on Team, didn't realize he just turned 15 few months ago. That kid is very talented and could be one of the Favorites to win Gold for team Usa. I think Team Usa has a Chance to win 3 Golds
