Off Topic - Get SKY for 12 months 50% off

Post by chad »

I know this is way off topic however SKY have a very limited promotion on just know. I thought there might be people here who would like to take advantage. I've just got my parents signed up.

14,000 1/2 price codes available right now via Money Saving Expert:

http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/shoppi ... ent=94#sky

Scroll to the very bottom, put in your e-mail address and post code, and a 50% off code will be generated.

"If you're new to Sky (or left over 12 months ago) we've blagged 50% off codes for all TV packages for a year, including movies and sport – full package details below. You'll also get a free £25 M&S voucher. There's a 12-month contract - when this ends you'll pay full price. Please note the additional fee for HD isn’t halved, unless you take the Sky Entertainment Extra+ deal."

More info about prices:

There is no catch. This is 100% legitimate. I'm currently into a 4 month deal with SKY on a 50% code. Saving a fortune!

Plenty of guys at my work do this using their parents account details. Again great idea if you know someone with SKY that don't use SkyGo themselves.

Last time I was paying for Sky it was about 50 quid a month and I can't imagine it's gone down with HD coming in. So half price for what they offer is still s**t.

Depends if you are under contract or not. I was on a rolling month by month since my previous contract had expired so I rang them up and threatened to leave for UPC as I felt I was paying way over the odds. Within 5 minutes they offered me 25% off my monthly bill, a free Sky+ HD box for the second room and 6 months trial HD for both rooms. I had to sign up to a 12 month contract but didn't mind that. I'm in Ireland though so not sure if the same offers apply in the UK. Worth a call.
