Hatton undercard

I'm having reccuring nightmares about what the Hatton undercard will be like assuming the 26th Nov fight goes ahead. I think a lot of you would agree the Zoo undercard was pretty dreadful, but I'm actually wondering if Fight Academy can actually produce an undercard thats any better.

So far there's Krence-Baker, but on a Hatton card (esp. considering he is now arguably THE champ at 140) surely the undercard has to be something a bit more special than that.

Maybe it makes more of a money spinner to put Haye on a different date, but surely Haye-Gurov should be going on the Hatton bill. Woods too, although with things all quiet on that front and Woods having beat Gonzalez fairly recently, that's probably a no-go. Matthew Hatton may well turn up, but even the possibility of him getting an English title fight seem remote now

Can anyone think of any other possibilities to make the undercard decent?

If they manage to sell the tickets without an undercard, they're not going to put a decent one on. My expectation is that it will be rubbish and on a par with the terrible undercard of the Tszyu fight.

Seems a strange one this, i thought fight academy would want to put on a strong show just to show the Hattons they have the capabilities & resources to be a big player thus impressing the Hattons who would then more likely do business again.

But as already metioned things dont look to promising and i've paid £500 for a platinum pass

Im not sure i can agree, the williams fight on the hatton zoo undercard was one of the greatest comedy fights ive ever seen. Couple of spliffs, that brian may wig followed by the genius boxing ability make for a near "puddle on the floor" experience.

I've got a bad feeling that the undercard is going to be piss poor, Krence has been confirmed (wow!) and I expect Matthew Hatton to be on the bill aswell.

I can't believe this is going to be PPV, it's got to be the worst PPV card in history.

What time does it start ? because it's on the same night as Nelson/ Cantatore and I'm just wondering if Warren will put it on ITV at the same time as the Hatton fight just to be awkward.

Just out of interest Hatton appears to be on Soccer AM tomorrow morning. Doubt we will find out anything new about the Warren saga but it's there if anyone is interested.

Freiheit was telling me earlier that Krence is due to face Chagaev on the Erdei-Sahnoune undercard this weekend, that's pretty active for a Heavyweight if he is facing Baker next month as well.

What sort of shape do you think Baker will turn up in?

The Baker Vs Krence fight wont happen, if Krence fights Chagaev. Thats because Chagaev will knock him out.

Whats the bet perenial loser Rakheem Mingalev gets wheeled out to fight a 'prospect' who ends up winning a laboured 6 round points decision whilst you catch 40 winks at ringside.
Then big Enzo Maccarinelli shows us how hard he can punch against some sacraficial lamb from Eastern Europe who is apparently the Belarussian National Heavyweight Champion prompting the commentator to say "So he has pedigree and a natural weight advantage....could spell problems for the Welsh puncher." The biggest problem being which corner Enzo chooses to go to whilst the guy gets counted out.
Mathew Hatton then proves that it isn't 'in the genes' as he wins a close eight round points nod against an 'experienced ex French National champion'.
Then in the final warm up its a British Heavyweight versus a warm body. I mean how the hell do they find these Eastern European Heavyweight offerings? Its like Warren flys a helicopter over a Lithuanian jail and drops a rope ladder into the yard and the first big lug who climbs up gets whisked away to London and has 2 weeks to learn English, meet his trainer, get taught how to raise his fists when he hears a bell and see if the last guy's shorts fit him aswell. Then he gets thrown in against Matt Skelton or Danny Williams in front of a national TV audience wearing a wig and a pair of shades incase the Lithuanian foreign minister recognises him.
Warren undercards are frickin farcical. He just can't understand the concept that people don't actually like seeing crap and would rather sit around talking amongst themselves whilst waiting for the main event than be served up such nonsence.

Hatton didn't do a lot on Soccer AM this morning, Ruddock stole the show as he tends to do. Hatton looked his usual pudgy self though.

Hilarious, however the undercard is no longer Warrens making its Fight Academy and Team Hatton that are milking the Hatton Gravy Boat now

At some point Kohl will probably hold an Universum/Spotlight heavyweight tournament, I think Cagaev very will could be a part of that.
