Does anybody know who is actually on the Bill ?

More TBA's than a ****** show . If they aren't going to post the full list of boxers on Boxrec, even though it is legitimately sanctioned by the GBA (I think?) before the event, will they post them after, and if not, why is it on here at all.

Fagan v Goodwin seems to be the main event, but even that isn't showing.

Like has been outlined above. The tickets are being sold on the basis of people coming to support the "home fighters".

The promoters dont want an potential "away fighters" being 'bullied' by the BBBoC who are actively trying to scupper the show so I guess the promoter is unwilling to make them public.

But this single show could potentially change the shape of boxing in this country, away from the hype of Chisora and Haye, in a venue regularly housing BBBofC events, opening the door for other promoters to look at running shows completely independent of the BBBofC (I think a first apart from the mentioned fight?), but with it still being legitimate professional boxing.
So I personally find it interesting how successful this event is, who boxes on it, whether the card is going to be on Boxrec either before or after the event, who is sanctioning it, or if in the end it will be referred to as an unlicensed / unsanctioned event in the future, and if those that box on it will be reprimanded in anyway, or if the BBBofC will officially just ignore the results and disclude them from the boxers record.
So there is no problem, I just find it very significant for British boxing.

I to am very interested in the outcome for a number of reasons.

Personally I find it distasteful that the BBBoC is a private limited company and the licence holders have no vote on who sits on the Board. Its a crazy system.

Hopefully this challenge to their authority will shake the up.

With regards the listing of the show, I am sure that the result in full will be listed on BoxRec after the show. BoxRec listed results of the GBA show in Malta so one can only assume that they will do the same for this as it is exactly the same set of circumstances as that show - that is unless they are a bunch of hypocrites and patsys for the BBBoC.

I definitely wouldnt support this Promotor because he hasnt published the bill so apart from the goodwin fight and Iain Weaver I havent a clue who is on the bill sounds like its all tba untill you get there that is no way to sell a show IMO

But you can understand why they don't want to be upfront about it on the first show under the GBA, if the board are pressuring fighters to pull out they could end up with a load of no-shows. I also noticed on the 'Scheduling' forum they have asked for the Fagan fight to be added to Boxrec and it just isn't happening.

Fair enough mate but as people have said earlier what they are doing is not illegal so why would anybody pull out ? at last years luxembourg show the board lobbied boxers to pull out and threatened action against them but the board did nothing so why would this time be any different ?

I think I'm one of the ones that said that, but really thinking about it, if you're promoting this event, it would be a disaster for boxers to pull out at the last minute. I guess this event is different than last years show as it doesn't have the same profile or money behind it, so if the board are going to do anything it would start here. I'm not sure the board can do anything and I'm sure their lawyers would tell them that. Once this show is done, the gates are open, and the landscape changes for the board and rather than try to chase each one of these shows around trying to pull the plug on them, one would hope they'd be more sensible and get to the route of the problem, i.e. why do promoters want to work outside of their 'authority'.
I don't have any insider knowledge at all, but from an outside pov it looks the board are more geared towards major promoters, and will bend rules left right and center to make sure they keep earning a screw, but the guys that don't have TV and make f'all money are left to fend for themselves with no rule bending.
Hence why if I was local, I'd support it.

the Promotor who I am pretty sure is behind it doesnt have a TV deal and I wouldnt have thought had any chance of getting one but you never know in Boxing lol

TV deals are hard to come by in the UK but elsewhere in the world? Webcasts seem to be the preferred option for these smaller shows.

That is correct jon if it was a board show but god knows what happens with some of these sanctioning bodies but makes me wonder what action this sanctioning body will take against Goodwin if any at all, the fight could have gone on anyway but Goodwin couldnt have won the so called title but could have won the fight He has let the promotor down badly

Enjoyed the night but mainly because I'd rather watch live sport than sit in an alehouse (or at home watch Britain's got desperate lunatics). The reality is the whole bill felt cobbled together and the (possibly Latvian) girl who lost the women's fight was as pitiful a creature as I have ever seen in a boxing ring. The ref should have stopped that one after 20 seconds. As for the cancellation of 'the main event', we were told by the announcer "Goodwin did not make the weight and did not make it by some distance". On the plus side there were a few decent four rounders with the lads involved giving it everything. Early days but Weaver looked like he could be decent if/when he calms down a bit (he should pack in all the tuppenny-ha'penny Ali bollocks as well).
