I'll tell you what it aint a full house so if this was an exercise to wind Kell Brook up it hasn't worked.

Think I just saw Anthony Joshua in the crowd.

Not sure why the constant mention of how tough Diaz is.....like he is the next Marciano. He's been stopped 5 times.
Re: The Khan v Diaz/Audley v Wilder/Ogogo Round by round thread
Khans chin still looks very suspect to me.

I think battle-hardened would be fair to say.stujones wrote:Not sure why the constant mention of how tough Diaz is.....like he is the next Marciano. He's been stopped 5 times.

Khan isnt really a puncher though is he so they're trying to make khan look better!stujones wrote:Not sure why the constant mention of how tough Diaz is.....like he is the next Marciano. He's been stopped 5 times.

For me it's highlighting Khan's lack of power...Diaz is a chinny lightweight.Kilburn wrote:I think battle-hardened would be fair to say.stujones wrote:Not sure why the constant mention of how tough Diaz is.....like he is the next Marciano. He's been stopped 5 times.

Every time Diaz lands Khan looks like he's bordering on going down!

Come on KHAN!!!
Re: The Khan v Diaz/Audley v Wilder/Ogogo Round by round thread
Atrocious refeereing by a british referee again I think! He was letting Amir get away with excessive holding there without even warning him.
Re: The Khan v Diaz/Audley v Wilder/Ogogo Round by round thread
More like great fortune that the opponent is only Julio Diaz.hal73 wrote:Khan great chin!!!

I think Khan boxed a lot more intelligently tonight but his chin is a major source of concern! lets be honest, if that was Garcia or Matthysse would he of survived that?
Re: The Khan v Diaz/Audley v Wilder/Ogogo Round by round thread
To be fair to Khan he got caught with some decent flush shots in the 11th and still stayed on his feet, his stamina needs improving though, he looked gassed since midway through the fight. Entertaining fight mind.

I gave Diaz the 2nd, a 10-8 in the 4th and rounds 10,11,12.
It didn't happen tonight but he will get chinned again soon enough.

I think thats a slight exaggeration!hal73 wrote:Big Big win for King Khan :-)

Khan was 1/16 to win that fight....Diaz was 9/1.

Well, Khan is as crappy as ever. Hunter doesn't seem to have improved him at all.
