3 or 4 more warm ups and he could be ready for a warm up fight....

I disagree! Khan was more patient for definiete, you cant deny that! Its his chin which is the problem!Riddick Blowe wrote:Well, Khan is as crappy as ever. Hunter doesn't seem to have improved him at all.

If he had improved he'd have not been getting tagged as often as he did.Riddick Blowe wrote:Well, Khan is as crappy as ever. Hunter doesn't seem to have improved him at all.

Bang on the money. Can't believe Khan gets so much credit for being 'exciting'... basically because he cannot defend himself and is wobbled by every shot that lands.Riddick Blowe wrote:Well, Khan is as crappy as ever. Hunter doesn't seem to have improved him at all.

Amir - you went down when you were off balanced because you got tagged so hard to knock you off balance!

Shades of the Maidana fight. I had Khan the winner, but can see if people scored it a draw or for Diaz.

He didn't even come into the ring. Sat outside with a 5 quid hotdog and some excellent power sloganeering.Riddick Blowe wrote:Well, Khan is as crappy as ever. Hunter doesn't seem to have improved him at all.

For Khan to be going to higher places than ever before, Diaz needed to be tricky at best. Not shaking Amir to his boots on several occasions.
Worrying performance.

People are being unfair tonight. Khan was improved in this fight. He was nowhere near rushing in as much as he normally does! The old Khan would of ended up trading after the knockdown and probably would of got stopped! Its his chin which is suspect which led to the bad moments.

What about his defense? He doesn't even have one really.columbo wrote:I think Khan boxed a lot more intelligently tonight but his chin is a major source of concern! lets be honest, if that was Garcia or Matthysse would he of survived that?
Re: The Khan v Diaz/Audley v Wilder/Ogogo Round by round thread
I think though this is the first time Khan was floored and not completely out of it. I think Khan's previous fights he's tried to trade cause his faculties were shaken up more.columbo wrote:People are being unfair tonight. Khan was improved in this fight. I dont know how Fury can say that after his performance against Cunningham! He hardly set the world alight getting put on his arse by a moderate punching slightly over cruiserweight heavyweight!hal73 wrote:Tyson Fury on twitter

The only person who could have thought that was an improvement is Stevie Wonder!columbo wrote:People are being unfair tonight. Khan was improved in this fight. A good watch mind.

I think if Khan is matched with any banger there's a good chance it will end in tears for Khan but can't fault him for trying. He doesn't have the stamina to fend them off late in the fight.columbo wrote:I think Khan boxed a lot more intelligently tonight but his chin is a major source of concern! lets be honest, if that was Garcia or Matthysse would he of survived that?
Matthysse vs Khan would be a train wreck.
Re: The Khan v Diaz/Audley v Wilder/Ogogo Round by round thread
Yeah but its impossible unless your ward or someone of similar ilk to go throughout an entire fight without getting clipped! Its khans chin which is the issue.Cas wrote:What about his defense? Left hooks are no friends to Amir.

Fury was more impressive than Khan.columbo wrote:I dont know how Fury can say that after his performance against Cunningham! He hardly set the world alight getting put on his arse by a moderate punching slightly over cruiserweight heavyweight!
Re: The Khan v Diaz/Audley v Wilder/Ogogo Round by round thread
So what are we realistically thinking for Khan, going forward?

Its his chin mate, thats the problem!Hagler2002 wrote:The only person who could have thought that was an improvement is Stevie Wonder!columbo wrote:People are being unfair tonight. Only in getting the stoppage and the fact he was basically mauling a guy who weighed two/three stone lighter!Horse wrote:Fury was more impressive than Khan.columbo wrote:I dont know how Fury can say that after his performance against Cunningham! If Matthyse plants one on the chin, Khan will go to sleep. Simple.
Re: The Khan v Diaz/Audley v Wilder/Ogogo Round by round thread
I don't know how Khan can possibly go the distance with Garcia let alone beat him.
