Apparantly Wladimir dropped Wilder in sparring. Not sure if thats true or not but thats what I heard. Wladimir also said Wilder was the fastest, most powerful guy he's ever been in the ring with though. Thats a pretty special endorsement there. I think Harrison has a chance because Wilder is still pretty raw technique wise and I think he rushes things in the ring somewhat but he can seriously punch! Possibly a bigger puncher than David Price so he's a serious danger.

Audley got me into boxing. After the Olympics in 2000 I decided, having never watched boxing before, that I would watch all of his fights and see him work his way towards becoming world champ and emulating Lennox Lewis. This opened up a whole new world for me as I also got wind of the other BBC shows taking place featuring Danny Williams, Robin Reid, Carl Froch, Clinton Woods, Noel Wilders, David Haye etc. and I have been hooked ever since. It wasn't until after the Dominic Guinn defeat that I resigned myself to the fact that Audley would probably never be world champ. I was devastated when he got beaten by Williams as I'd always believed Audley would become world champ and I had staunchly defended him in beer-fuelled debates with my mates. I think it's a shame things worked out they way they did but he has always been too cautious, even in his matchmaking earlier in his career. After proclaiming he was capable of becoming British champ in his 5th fight, after 4 years as a pro he was scouring Boxrec to find the weakest possible opponents (Hersisia/Bonin/Nicolay Popov, who pulled out and was replaced by Julius Francis) with the longest untarnished records rather than chasing real challenges. Although I feel sorry for him for the amount of stick he gets he brought it all on himself. I think he will get destroyed tonight.

I really want to see the guy succeed because his journey would inspire a lot of people. He's been ridiculed, mocked, hated and labelled delusional if he KOs wilder tonight, appears relaxed and stays humble i think alot of people will stop hating him and start wanting to see him get his chance at a bit of glory. This country loves an underdog story.

He is the same boxer, he has the same faults and again he is fooling you all into believeing that he can actually beat a ranked heavyweight

Prizefighter is glorified amateur boxing, at which Harrison is a Olympic champion he is obviously going to beat J.Bloggs who has a 5 fight pro record, works at the local butchers and had 5 amateur fights!! The truth is the first shot that connects will turn him back to the pussy cat we all know he is or worse it will pole axe him the way Price did.

When ever a puncher has come forward with a flurry. Audley folds. Haye, Price and now Wilder. Knocked out the moment they put their foot on the gas.

The writing was on the wall after the first Danny Williams fight. Danny was finished by then. He weighed a career high going into that fight and didn't train at all. Audley was petrified of Danny Williams and gave the fight away.

Audley had some moments though. The Olympic gold medal. The second Danny Williams fight showed what could happen if Audley was up for a fight. His win against Michael Sprott in the last round showed guts and of course his 2 prize fighter wins.

I do find it surprising how excited people are by this idea that Audley's is poised to cause an upset. If Audley doesn't end up fighting timid and being stopped in around 3 rounds, now that would be surprising! Lol

i know but Audley is such a nice guy and a good salesman that you want to believe him. This is surely his last chance though. Ironically he willl probably be very successful outside of boxing where a brain and an engaing manner should take him far.

I have followed Audley in the Olympics, through the BBC days where some idiots in charge spent the boxing budget on him so when it turned out Audley didn't actually like hitting people there was no more money for boxing on the BBC.....I've been in the position of the Opening Poster myself as recently as the last couple of years, and then to the position of complete indifference. I didn't even watch his last Prizefighter (how many has he racked up now?) victory or even his fights before that and when his name was added to this bill, which I'd already got my ticket for I think, I was a bit peeved that he'd hijacked the show.

However, I decided to buy into the man again and get behind him - made myself look a right tool on here as well saying how I though he could outpoint or even stop Wilder with that big left hand of his. Knocking over a few hillbillies to rack up a freakish 27KOs in a row might impress some people but to others doesn't necessarily indicate the second coming of Mike Tyson.

I saw him talking after the presser and he was too chatty, like he was talking about somebody else or a fight that wasn't involving him - there were no signs of nerves, fear, pent up aggression or anything to suggest he was about to face a big black man built like a brick-shithouse. Then for the ringwalk he walked too slowly......he didn't want to be there, if you're going to fight you want to get in there and do something, Audley walked in - p*sstakingly-slowly frankly, like a man going to the gallows. The fight was an embarrassment.......Wilder stalked him to the ropes, nothing happened, then Wilder stalked him again, again, nothing. At this point Audley could have used some of that fcking power to send out a message but instead he said to Wilder: "come and smack me in the mush mate because I don't intend to fight back".

At worst the shrinks need to get hold of Audley as he's bidding his wife and daughter good-bye to do this on a regular basis now.

I said the other day that the Board should have retired him before now and somebody asked me if I was joking. If they let him carry on - and I'm positive he will try to continue as I suspect he is deluded, then I'll write to them and ask them why and let you know.

I just decided I wanted to believe in the guy mate ......It's quite awkward when you're sat up in the Gods with people munching popcorn who basically don't give a sh*t about ANY of it unless somebody - anybody - preferably in every fight, gets knocked out - and you're sat giving support...If you'd have heard me after the great David Haye/ Harrison robbery (of which Haye was as much a culprit - "I've told my friends and family what round the fight will end so they'll make some serious money while you (c*nts) shell out for PPV on it"....you would see I was once very anti-Harrison also.......but I just decided I wanted to believe in the guy - like Father Christmas lol

Don't be daft man. He not been offered fights with Fury, because Fury has MUCH bigger fish to fry. Fury would put Audley away with ease. He might take two or three rounds, but he puts Audley to sleep. Chisora has also had bigger fish to fry. Maybe you think he's been ducked by the two of them?
