Maybe; I think we're very lucky to have a trio of Macklin, Murray & Barker who are all world class.
I think ultimately the only way to find out would be for them to fight each other, which I don't think is going to happen anytime soon.

He is now. Hopefully he can get a shot at Geale or Quillin soon.

What about Anthony Whisky Agogo?
Re: think its safe to say murrays the no1 middleweight in uk ?
It could be quite possible in a year all 3 could hold title belts and have some top unification bouts here in the uk and it would be massive

Don't think he'd ko Geale but I think that's a fight has a great chance of winning. And as you say they won't be lining up to fight him.leeharding wrote:i agree mate but ive got a feeling the world champs r gonna run and wont want to fight him ide pick martin to ko gealeHorse wrote:He is now. Whatever happens, he needs to keep busy.
He is 30 years old now (and unlikely to get much better than he is already) and this was only his 3rd fight since the Sturm fight almost 18 months ago.
His stock is as high as it has ever been and he needs to maintain the momentum - although his inability to get a visa to fight in America and his promoters inability to get him a title shot in the UK will not help.
The obvious, logical answer would be fights with Barker and Macklin but it all depends on how much they all want to take it / risk theor own rankings and of course the amount of money available.
Either way, I hope we don't see another situation similar to Randall Munroe where he ns left inactive on the sidelines until his chance has come and gone.

true at his age he needs to speed up.
i think he needs darren barker fight has to be made now
he'll find it hard getting a visa for a fight in USA

thats a load of bollocks and takes away his achievement murrays size and game plane made martinez fight the way he did and i onnestly believe he underestamated murray and got a massive shock but to say he got a worse version is bollocks and murray would beat maclin and barker im a 100pcnt confident on thatdesperados wrote:it's close, he got a much worse version of Sergio than Barker or Macklin got.

They didn't go to Buenos Aires and fight in front of one of the most partisan crowdsdesperados wrote:it's close, he got a much worse version of Sergio than Barker or Macklin got.
in boxing history. 50000 hostile Argentinians and Murray didn't even flinch, that
takes bollocks the size of the moon.

I think Macklin is going to be annhilated by GGG which leaves Barker, who's with Matchroom. Could see a Barker Vs Murray fight with Murray definitly winning. Macklin has seen Murray and Barker as beneath him so I could see both of them blanking him after the GGG loss.

at him during the ringwalk which was audible on the TyC broadcast, just as well Murray doesn't know
any Spanish.

Murray's ranked No. 1 with the EBU.
If he can't get another world title fight or eliminator, then he should fight Bursak for the European title.

If They Usually Get At Least 12 Weeks Before Fight. They Will Be Able To Sort Visa Out.Will Have To Attend Interview And With Martins Convictions.I Am Sure He Will Be Ok.Think Chavez Fight Would Have Happened If Team Had More Time.Think Fight Was Offered 8 Weeks Out.Great Effort Last Night.Oliver Harrison Deserves Alot Of Credit To For Tactics And Game Plan.3rd Time Lucky Next Time I Reckon.bripez wrote:Whatever happens, he needs to keep busy.

At world level you do not get in the ring unless you are 100%
As you can see you will always find arm chair bandits too fault a heroic display

Re: think its safe to say murrays the no1 middleweight in uk ?
Yeah hes defo the uk's no 1 middleweight IMO the only thing I worry about is hatton keeping him active. Without a tv deal hatton needs to keep getting fights in other people backyards which is fine but they are harder to make that putting on your own show. Hatton/murray needs to build on this momentum, basically do the opposite of Quigg.

Problem is that at 38 and with injuries Martinez will never be 100% yes he may have felt fine but this wasn't the same fighter we'd seen before.1 nut wrote:At world level you do not get in the ring unless you are 100%
