He may not be in the same league as Hagler, But you know that kiwi that Danny Green almost died fighting and the same Kiwi gave Mundine a hard fight. Forget his name but seen him walk through so many punches.

One fighter from the old TV Ringside era of 1970 and 1972, who had a granite chin was the Englishman: Mick Cain. Mick who fought Kaha Mahanga (twice) and Fred Etuati, both guys with heavy hands, was able to take their best shots on the chin and come back and win.

I remember watching that fight with Green, and Fenech in his corner going ape shit telling him to knock this bum out. At the time, no man was going to knock him out, he had an iron chin. Tough as nails, a good journeyman fighter. I still think Green lost something after that fight.

George Chuvalo
Jake LaMotta
Oliver McCall
Marvin Hagler
James Toney
Mike McCallum

A few who spring to mind when thinking of megachins.

Even fighters like Muhammad Ali, Kid Gavilan & Sugar Ray Robinson; fighters who did take counts, but fought long careers & were never KOd are worthy of mentioning.

In rugby league there is a man named john sattler, whos legend still lives on 40 years,

After this incident took place, in a grandfinal his jaw was broken in the opening minutes and he played every minute of the game and a legend was born. Inspiring, gutsy and tenacity spring to mind when his story is regailed. In boxing when i think of chins, i remember Norton breaking Alis jaw and ali refusing to retire and finishing the fight. From memory, i belive the break happened very early.

Holyfield...before he unfortunately took too many for too long. Those shots he took v's Bowe 1, and then came back were awesome. he did it often against bigger guys. Foreman, Bowe, Lewis and then against Qawi, Cooper and the list goes on.
