Former English super-featherweight champion Terry 'Turbo' Flanagan is preparing for the biggest night and fight of his life against former undisputed world lightweight champion Nate Campbell - For the WBC International light-welterweight title on the undercard of Amir Khan v Julio Diaz at the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield on April 27.
This is a massive step-up in more than one way, the lad was a super feather up to Prizefighter, and Campbell fought at Welter in his last fight. Kudos to Flannigan and team for the gamble.
Don't understand how they can fight at 9-11 but it's for a lightweight title what's the point in haven a lightweight title if you don't have to make weight ? And ideas anyone
strange fight, I have never seen this Flannagan fellow but on cursory glance he seems to be a domestic-level weak punching guy, the question is how shot is Nate Campbell and is he shot enough to lose this? I mean I'm sure the answer must be yes, but has anyone seen Nate's last few fights? He does seem to have entered journeyman mode.
I've seen Campbell losing over the last couple of years, he is done, his body is rebelling against him, if anyone has seen this lad and he's semi-competent he should outpoint the remains of Campbell.
Dissapointed in Nate Campbell for an ex world champion barely threw anything and his corner seemed to be giving no motivation at all.
I'll give Terry credit he looked good again boxing well at range and varying his shots. Personally I'd like to see him fight Anthony Crolla next.I think Crolla is a good guy but personally I think Terry will take him.

Terry is more than capable of beating any LW in the UK except Mitchell,Rees and burns

41 year old Nate Campbell gave nothing, was completely stationary and was telling his corner what to do. He threw the towel in after 4 one sided but hardly brutal rounds. Good name on Terry's record and some nice exposure but the fight taught him nothing and proved nothing. Let's call a spade a spade here....Campbell was a punching bag in a pathetic though not unpredictable display. Not Terry's fault but he would have gotten a tougher workout again a Latvian street sweeper.

I agree with this. Campbell did nothing at all.
It was with some relief that Gary Sykes and John Kays put on such a super contest as the show was in need of being saved.
No disrespect to others - Bradley Pryce can still have a fight, good contest with Rick Goddings - hope I've got his name right there! Sykes Kays was a great battle. Nate Campbell didn't turn up - not Flannigan's fault, a win's a win.

Sorry mate, think you're being slightly wise after the event here. As I said above, this was quite a step up for Flannigan, they weren't to know that Campbell wasn't going to be arsed.
