Top ten boxers from each continent
North America
South America
Europe
Asia/Pacific (doing it as one, Oceania dosent really warrant it's own)
Africa
Anyone want too attempt? I'm not confident to do a list except for maybe north America, or perhaps Europe

Re: Top ten boxers from each continent
I thought Mexico might be in North America, didnt know that Panama was in North America though. I was also undecided about putting Bob Fitzsimmons in Europe or Asia / Pacific, and whether to put Marcel Cerdan in Africa or Europe. I was also tempted to include Laszlo Papp in the European top ten
Re: Top ten boxers from each continent
Panama is Central America. Not a Continent just a region. Roberto Duran is definitely the best fighter ever from Central America without any doubt.dr_devious wrote:I thought Mexico might be in North America, didnt know that Panama was in North America though. Fitz has a better case to be classed in the Asia-Pacific section than Tszyu does. Young Griffo needs to be in that section too.dr_devious wrote:North America - Ray Robinson, Sam Langford, Harry Greb, Henry Armstrong, Ezzard Charles, Muhammed Ali, Joe Louis, Willie Pep, Benny Leonard, Ray Leonard

Possibly Gans could slip into a spot in the Nth American section.
Kid Gavilan and Kid Chocolate in S.A section.

That's not how Geography works. Cuba is an island, but it's clearly in North America. Good call on Gavilan, he should definitely be top 10.Tinnie wrote:SaadOffTheDeck wrote:

Duran is from Central America though...which is technically neither North America nor South America, but I would think most people would more commonly associate it with South America.

Re: Top ten boxers from each continent
Well you could make the case that Penguin should've been DQ'ed for a rabbit punch there, but hey what do you want? The ref didn't call it. Defend yourself at all times Penguin!!!MEISINGER wrote:and to think he has penguin rated over penguin!!!!gilgamesh wrote:Penguin 1 punch KO over Penguin
