The way I see it we should delay a bit more, think about it, maybe we did something wrong here....

No sense forging forward without a plan, and without a proper review.

Looks like some of those matches were made in haste.....might need to bring in some professionals to have a look see.

I just don't see any reason to be over anxious and assume we got it right the first time round.

Crease, check with everybody and make sure they are confident of their decisions, then go to the local deli and get us all some sandwiches.

TF.....could you get your computer looked at before you run the next fight? Last time out it seemed a bit out of alignment.....you know....showed Kid Norfolk as having been "undertrained". As if that could happen.

I'm thinkin' October is a good fight month. Let's take some time, maybe make it through the summer before we tear out into something we're not quite ready for.

Otherwise, the Sim will be littered with GBP opponents who attempted to "get engaged" before they were informed of the full extent of the challenges and dangers that lie ahead.

............Seems we have run into a bit of a glitch. In the spirit of "how can I help?" I offer this suggestion.

If we have not heard from our commish, I would agree (if acceptable to all) to do another season.

I will take such action only after we reach some sort of concensus that enough time has passed to warrant this.

It would be my plan to go forward EXACTLY yes EXACTLY as TF outlined in his initial plan.

The ONLY exceptions for this would be:

1. Week 1 will be considered "pre season" and we begin with week two.

2. I will post here vs the MSN option.

3. 31 week max (including the one pre season fight)

4. My stable will be exist ONLY if a vote produces a unanimous verdict of support. Otherwise I will commish only.

5. The software will be cleaned, and thus dependable for ratings this time round. As it was in the TF seasons before.

Crease, I would appreciate your assist, and understand if you don't have the time.

There will be 1 maybe 2 commish choice weeks along the way.

So if you don't manage your fighters, fights will be lined up for them. Managers can return if they wish at any point and get back in the saddle. But timelines will be kept on all fighters per TF's original manifest.

A fight every week no exceptions as I recall his words.

That is all.

It's a shame TF has disappeared, but I'm sure he has good reason. That's fine by me, no way we can get the MSN way to work? Much prefer it than direct posting.

Keep your stable, you're no threat.

I agree that the MSN is a much better report product. But for me, it's about the huge amount of time it takes to get it done. Not to mention I have forgotten the steps.

The forum post takes me about an hour or less to run all fights, and post all fights. This I can do. The other process (for me) would easily take 3 times as long. (And I know it looks 5 times better. ) However I just don't have that sort of time these days.

Fair enough Buzz, whatever is easier for you. An hour is long enough!

If Buzz decides to press on with this card, patrons will be glad to know that the points system from last season has been scrapped.

Does anyone know if -TF- had purchased one of these recently? If so it appears to be working well.
