Does Alex Stewart used plastic of paris vs George Foreman?

Post by marchegianorock »

I saw that fight and i can't believe the way George Foreman ended. Foreman fought other good punchers like, Evander Holyfield, Tommy Morrison and Michael Moorer and his face never ended like that. So was Alex Steward using plastic of paris or no pads inside his gloves? To cause in George's face so much swelling?

A crooked person wouldn't even have to bother using any kind of fast trying plaster of paris hand wraps.
I have heard other boxers in recent years accuse the other camp
of putting some type of salve on the gloves to make the opponents
face swell after contact due to a chemical reaction combined with the regular pounding of the boxing gloves on the opponents face.

No evidence he was using plaster.

Foreman was cavalier against Stewart trying to force a stoppage, and as a result took some heavy leather. Stewart always looked a very strong puncher.

Agreed. Too bad he didn't ask if Stewart had loaded gloves.

Or maybe Foreman had eaten something earlier that day that he was allergic to.
