Predictions then for Floyd/Guerrero?
I can't pick against Floyd, just hoping for a decent scrap. Floyd UD.
Anyone picking Guerrero?

Re: Predictions then for Floyd/Guerrero?
Not picking Guerrero, but he has the skills to make it a differcult night for Floyd. Got to go for Floyd by UD as well
Re: Predictions then for Floyd/Guerrero?
Guerrero is a class act, just look at his record, what he did to Katsidis was proper painful to watch and must have damaged him.
It just shows how good PBF is that he will prob win clearly cause I reckon Guerroro is close to elite class.

Re: Predictions then for Floyd/Guerrero?
Floyd to dominate him and move through the gears slowly has the fight goes on, I see a wide ud or gurerro's corner stoping the fight in the late rounds !

Mayweather to be far too good and win inside 11 one sided rounds.

Are Mayweather's bouts as appealing now there is no prospect of him fighting Manny Pacquiao?

Re: Predictions then for Floyd/Guerrero?
Guerrero is better than anyone Floyd has handpicked in years. I think The Ghost will punch holes in Floyd's manufactured 'greatness' and make a mess of things. He won't respect Floyd and will be all over him. Guerrero on points or losing a controversial decision.

Re: Predictions then for Floyd/Guerrero?
Mayweather by clear UD. Something like 117-111 or 118-110.
I think Guerrero will have his moments early on but like everyone else Floyd will work him out and ease to a comfortable decision win.
I just don't see what Guerrero has that can beat Floyd. He's not a big puncher and even if he was Mayweather has never shown chin vulnerabilities. He's the smaller man, has a reach disadvantage, is slower than Floyd and has a fairly open defence as shown by Berto closing his eye in their fight.
Guerrero could only win this by stoppage for me and Mayweather has been in with much harder punchers and has never looked remotely like being stopped. He'd never get any decision on the cards unless he'd utterly dominated the fight which just won't happen.

Floyd on points in a rough house bruising encounter, more miles on the Mayweather clock

Floyd no problem.
Re: Predictions then for Floyd/Guerrero?
I'm thinking that Guerrero gives him a few problems but Floyd takes it with a close UD.

Mayweather round 10, guerrero start strong before Floyd starts figuring him out. Breaking him down with uppercuts on the inside and straight rights from the outside.

Re: Predictions then for Floyd/Guerrero?
Happy to say I got that one wrong; brilliant from Mayweather.
Was a little surprised that Guerrero tried to box rather than fight though, I felt the only way he would get any joy was the rough-house stuff along with his work rate but both were lacking tonight.
Taking nothing away from what was a classic Mayweather performance though.

I don't think floyds opponents realise just how good he is until there in there, every game plan goes out the window when your getting stung with right hands from nowhere !MarkMcBurney wrote:Happy to say I got that one wrong; brilliant from Mayweather.
