Dickhead here has been hanging about in the Current Scene and thinking 'god it's quiet tonight, Boxing must be REALLY dead'.

How long has this section of the forum been going? I don't frequent much anymore.

That is true. Mares is one tough SOB, but PDL was legitly winning this fight on my card, though it would have been within a point after the KD if PDL got through that round.

Bottom line is Mares took some licks to his head and body, he sacrificed tonight.
Man you could hear those punches landing solid.
Mares bought some respect tonight and proved he will kick it off with anyone.
Mares could have boxed it on the outside like Gamboa did but he didn't, he came in for the crunching punches and believed in himself.

Mares just bought himself some big respect and did it the real way.

Mares didn't punk out at all.
He came to punch box and trade and saw it all through to the end.

So much for the PDL vs Mares is going to be a boring fight crowd.

Yeah but they both deserved to finish it legitimately, with no bullshit, like Provo vs Bradley.

For a card that looked whack it is turning out to be quite good.

Good. I had it a one point fight. I'm glad they weren't wide for Mares.

Guerrero looks like he is about to puke. I have always found it best to puke and have done with it. Kind of like chumming for fish.
