Dempsey was class last night

Post by dammage7 »

Basically, he wasn't like other people, kissing hayes arse. He was really being devils advocate and telling david haye like it is.
fairplay to haye, he answers all questions, but there was no brown nosing like buncey and ski would have done to haye.

Haye was putting pianeta down, but dempsey was putting haye down for his performance etc.

Funny how on sky after post vitali/charr fight haye labelled charr a joke, but now bigging him up.

lets be honest pianeta >>> charr
charr is in the league of nic firthas and martin rogans.

haye was saying wlad gave thompson a rematch, but Thompson was mandatory. Wlad even said he didnt want to fight thompson but had no choice.

Comparing Charr with Rogan is stretching things a tad.

Seriously, it's not. I've seen Charr's last two fights prior to the Klitschko debacle and the guy is woefully out of his depth at World level. He was pisspoor against a faded Williams and has literally no lateral movement and slow hands. I would back the likes of Price, Towers and hell even Fury to win easily against Charr. He really is a level below European.

...Towers? Oh come off it, Towers would struggle to beat a heavy bag.

If I remember correctly his wife who lived in Dublin was seriously ill and Dempsey was having to go back and forth to England. When Setanta started up around 2006 Dempsey jumped ship as they had their studios in Dublin.

It was a great television to watch because you a current (supposedly) active fighter in David Haye who has been in with Wladimir K and wants to get back in with him being grilled by an experienced broadcaster who is also extremely knowledgeable about his boxing who knows the right questions to ask and how to follow them up effectively to engage effectively with the guest. It was inevitable that Haye was going to try and find every single opportunity to shoot down Pianeta in terms of his ability and who he has faced, while Dempsey was being the devils advocate and rightly hauling Haye for his lacklustre performance when he had his shot at the Heavyweight cashcow that is Wladimir Klitshcko.
