How about Garcia?
Re: Corrie Sanders vs
Not familiar enough with Garcia to form a fair assessment of that particular matchup.Rover wrote:Yeah, considering what Fres did...gilgamesh wrote:I like Corrie in that one. KO 2Rover wrote:Clifford Etienne. Fire away!

Re: Corrie Sanders vs
Sanders/Briggs would've been fun, especially early.

Anyone with a dodgy chin is fair game. Buster Mathis Jr, all the greats!

Re: Corrie Sanders vs
I think Briggs may have a shot, but he'd have to walk through hell and not have an asthma attack. Kirk Johnson. Didn't he turn sumo against a Klitschko? Corrie on PTS? Who knows with that one.
Re: Corrie Sanders vs
Yeah, Sanders showed up fat v. Vitali. I doubt Corrie'd beat him on points; it'd be by stoppage if he did it.polecateddy wrote:I think Briggs may have a shot, but he'd have to walk through hell and not have an asthma attack. Kirk Johnson. Re: Corrie Sanders vs
Sanders/McCall? I'm confident Corrie wouldn't stop him.
Re: Corrie Sanders vs
Apparently this thread hasn't ended Corrie threads, as Sanders/Ruiz is now up.
Re: Corrie Sanders vs
Corrie Sanders v. Lamon Brewster.
Battle of the last two guys who beat Wlad.

Francesco Damiani. Does Sanders avenge duPlooy's loss?

Re: Corrie Sanders vs
A peak Brewster could probably walk through the pain and pull a Rahman. Damiani might be a tough one. He was a skilled guy.

Re: Corrie Sanders vs
Another dangerous one. If Corrie didn't win early, he might lose late. A fit Corrie would win in 3.

Re: Corrie Sanders vs
A peak Brewster!!?? The best guys he fought before Wlad were journeymen and they beat him. And he followed Wlad with Meehan, Golota and Krasniqi, two of whom he struggled mightily with despite being no achievers themselves. I'm not sure there ever was a peak Brewster, except the one who pulled off the miracle against Wlad.polecateddy wrote:A peak Brewster could probably walk through the pain and pull a Rahman. If ever two fighters belong in the same sentence it's Sanders and Brewster.

Re: Corrie Sanders vs
His "peak" was basically the same as Sanders; an upset of the highly regarded Wlad. Neither really had much of anything else, although I guess Brewster may have a had a (very) slightly better resume.MEISINGER wrote:The Great John L wrote:A peak Brewster!!??
