Erdei vs Sahnoune round by round

I will do round by round of this fight when it begins. After the fight ZDF will show Silke Weickenmeier vs Ina Menzer for the WIBF featherweight title. I doubt I will be doing round by round for that fight since I already know the result.

After two losses within the last month will Universum have any luck this time, or will Sidorenko be the only male world champ after the fight?

Its clear from the start that Sahnoune throws harder punches.
Most of the time its Sahnoune in the middle.
Erdei landing some jabs.
Erdei is quicker than Sahnoune.
Erdei landing some good bodyshots with his right hand.

Erdei using his quick jab.
Again one of those right hands to the body from Erdei.
Good hard combo by MS.
MS hooking a lot, both to the head and body

MS comming forward, Erdei landing contras.
MS really throwing a left hook to the body a lot.
Not the fastest of fights.
Picking up the pace at the end of the fight

Erdei still using the jab a alot while MS is hooking
Erdei doesnt really put power in his shots
Cortez speaks english to them, I dont think either of them speaks english.

Its still the same, jabbing/hooking, Erdei landing more.
MS lands a good right hook

Erdei breathing hard between the rounds
Sdunek not satisfied.
MS is rabbit punching a lot.
Erdei is starting to get hit a alot.
I doubt that Erdei will last the fight out
Erdei getting hit 4-5 times
Suddenly Erdei explodes and hits MS a alot.

Erdei getting a second win, MS should have put mor pressure on him

Looks like Sahnoune have lost his power
5 punch combo by Erdei that all lands
If Sahnoune doesnt stop rabbit punching/hitting in the back he might lose a point soon.

Wow, cheers for the RBR. It sounds like groundhog day for Sahnoune. Was it a fair stoppage, or could he have lasted the final minute?

I have seen worse stoppages. Sahnounes corner not protesting it. Sahnoune didnt defend himself, but I wonder if it were Erdei if it would have been stopped

Apparently Erdei got a rib injury while he were in trainingcamp. He says he hasnt been able to spar more than 8 rounds at a time.

Supervisor said that the scorecards were even before the last round. The winner of the 12th round would have won the fight

I know Freiheit is far too nice a bloke to seek platitudes, but I would like to say that posts like his make Boxrec the site it is, I use these sites to get views and perspectives I wouldn't already get and to persuade me to check out tapes or go and see fighters I wouldn't otherwise have done.

Well said, I've seen Erdei a couple of times on the Eurosport replay shows and have been impressed. I don't know if he'll ever mix it with Woods or Calzaghe but it's good to be able to check in on his form.

Excellent RBR, Freiheit. I was a bit late in checking so just scrolled down slowly - line by line - for the 'live' experience.

Not too surprising about the fitness - Erdei has always looked like he could make super-middleweight, and MS didn't look particularly ripped at the weigh-in.

Have to laugh at "Kohl is sitting next to the supervisor". I had went for a Erdei UD, so was quite chuffed to read this. Gutted about the stoppage.

I had Erdei leading by a wide margin

Sahnoune was pressing the action put hardly landing any punches, didn't throw a single jab either. Erdei was much more efficient in his counters and frequently made efficient use of his jab.

Great stuff, Freiheit.

I've just got in, and with no chance of seeing the fight, it's good to hear what went down.

I tell you what though, I'm having a shocker on Boxingpredictions.net this week: Winners I can pick, but how it ends? No chance. Witter, Corcoran and now Erdei have all spoilt it for me.

Freiheit, how do you think Erdei does against the other champs (And Tarver and Johnson, the uncrowned champs, obviously) at 175? I really haven't seen as much of the guy as I'd have liked.
