Fury is a great character , one that's great for Boxing.
Everyone should support him , he's given us some great entertainment.
i can't say enough good things about fury

he is the type of fighter that can get the entire world
interested in the heavyweight division

the guy is fun
Plenty more fun to come, he's only 24. If he can avoid most Heavyweight boxers pitfalls (Jail or a Klitschko) he should do very well indeed.

Probably higher than Holyfields, and he didn't do too badly in the ring.

I get the feeling Fury is a very intelligent guy, who isn't particularly educated.

I trust his judgement as he fought and beat Dimitrenko too. He also was one of the few people to call Thompson KOing Price. He is a student of boxing :OhYes:

Peter Fury also feels Pulev is a limited fighter.

I'm still unclear on what Pulev's standout win is, that earned him his fearsome reputation ...

Anyway, I am hopeful this fight will happen as the Fury camp are actively pursuing it :TU:

EDIT: I have just discovered Pulev LOST more fights as an amateur Super Heavyweight than he won, including losing FIVE times to Camarelle

HOW does this guy have such an esteemed reputation?? :KO:
His standout wins are Dimitrenko and Ustinov.
He mixed in the top level as an am for years. He has numerous world/european championship medals. Losing to the likes of Cammarelle is nothing to be ashamed of! The Italian is one of the best super heavies to box am.

Pulev will be Fury's hardest fight so far if it happens.
Pulev won almost all of his fights at heavyweight in the ams

Then he moved up - as an older man than Fury is now - to Super Heavweight and weighed FIFTY POUNDS less than Fury and lost MULTIPLE times to Camarelle, Solis and others.

This is a walk in the park for Fury, bookies and matchmakers

The only people who think Pulev stands a chance are Internet boxing experts.

Maybe they can see something the rest of us can not, but I doubt it :TU:

Remind us how long ago was the mcdermott fights ?? or are you just picking bones cause you have a very small penis and hate gypsies ?
fury's been troubled by svelte cruiser steve cunningham, in a terrific fight albeit. having to hold and hit to secure the win.

pulev, who admittedly isn't the most versatile or urgent of pros, beat down a couple of guys of similar size to fury.

an interesting fight, and an angle surely worth considering, without your attempts to distract the issue by bringing my cock and gypsies into it!

YOU still did not point out when the last time Fury turned his back or say how long ago was the mcdermott fights were ?
Anyone that would even attempt bring up the McDermott fights from way back when fury was fat and out of shape must have an agenda wouldn't you agree ? :D

You're reasoning is borderline insane. It is without reason.

How many times would an amateur Fury have lost to Camarelle and Solis? And what would it mean now, anyway?

And you know what, Tyson lost to Tillman in the amateurs. Are you seriously clinging to amateur form?

Tell Ustinov that Pulev can't handle height and weight advantage.

Tell us internet boxing experts once again how 'Mike Perez will blow out Travis Walker' early please.

Ridiculous.

Just seen this:

http://teamfuryboxing.com/2013/05/10/up ... eter-fury/
We will have some interesting announcements coming up for Tyson shortly, like his next opponent with a big press conference coming up in London.

Pulev is the obvious answer, but sounds like Chambers is fighting Pulev, on Twitter Peter Fury says Haye, Pulev or Adamek.

I would personally be EXTREMELY surprised if Fury risked it all against a low-profile, exceeding good Euro fighter in Pulev. This guy if he doesn't fight a Klitschko will probably be the one who retires Povetkin. Fury has domestic fights and winnable higher profile fights he can feed off.

Even though this negotiation is for a IBF eliminator. I would have thought Adamek was most likely. He's shorter than Cunningham and the majority of his fights have been at light heavy/cruiserweight. Adamek is a small heavyweight and I would suspect a similar fight to Fury's last one against Cunningham.

The Fury camp know he can beat these type of guys up, and then cherry pick big domestic matches with Price and Haye in the near future. I think Fury would avoid prefer to avoid the Klitschko's, and wait for a vacant title to pop up.

If Fury does fight Adamek rather than the IBF eliminator against Pulev. He then avoids becoming a mandatory for Wladimir Klitschko's IBF Heavyweight title. Pulev is ranked #1 with the IBF. He'll end up fighting someone like Ruslan Chagaev (ranked #6 with the IBF) and then he'll become mandatory for Wladimir's IBF Heavyweight title and the eliminator will be scrapped.

That's my guess anyway. Fury to go for Adamek.

Pulev, Haye and Adamek are all great fights for Fury. All three are world class operators. Some people will no doubt slag Tyson off no matter who he fights, but they need to remember one thing...... he's 24 years old. There is plenty of time .

Ustinov is pretty poor. He's massive, can punch and he's tough, but his skill level is low.
