If and when Floyd fights Jermaine Taylor.

Post by boxbet »

I know it sounds ridiculous BUT if floyd wins a welterweight belt, then takes on winky when winky's about 35 years old ,past his peak and wins. Then there will be talk about a challenge to middleweight king Taylor. What happens in this fight? Surely one step up too many. There's no way in hell he could beat taylor is there?
If Tommy Hearns went from welter to LH , Floyd may think he can go super feather to middle.
Its easy to say it will never happen but you never know, there may be talk of this in the future.

Floyds good :box: but things are getting carried away

You can only rise so high in the weights, ask Oscar De La Hoya how his time at Middleweight was, fighting as a former Super Featherweight himself. I could see Floyd being a good Welterweight, I think once he'd hit Light Middleweight plus, he'd not have the same effect as a fighter.

Theres Ricky Hatton at Light-Welterweight, Zab Judah and Welterweight, thats more like it.

For PBF and Taylor to fight, one or the other would have to gain/shed 20 pounds or meet in the middle with 10. However, I don't think that benefits either fighter and this fight would be pretty pointless.

Why won't Floyd fight Hatton? That is who he should fight instead of all of this crap that we are hearing about him fighting everyone from 147 up to Heavyweight.

This is typical these days when a fighter gets a big win. If you consider the Gatti fight big I guess. People have gone way overboard on this guy and he really hasn't done shit in three years.

Taylor would end his life by the way.

I think this is a piss take!

PBF is good and he's hungry and ambitious to be a multi weight champion, but jermain taylors like twice as big as him! I don't think he'd beat Winky either
