Is that 100%? The reason I ask is I saw an article on BS the other day where Richard Schaefer was saying they wernt interested in that fight.Bennyblanco wrote:So delboy fights Wilder june 15th at wembley on the gavin v vassell card.

If Dereck can get himself in shape it would not surprise me at all to see him pull this off.

Del should look on this as a longer fight, Wilder is severly untested.

Interesting fight apart from against Haye Chisora has looked very durable so could take Wilder into uncharted territory!! I may have to watch this live!!
Re: Chisora V Wilder
I see Wilder knocking him out in about 4 rounds or so. People go on about Chisora's durability but he hasnt faced a truely big puncher aside from Haye and he got smashed.deliverance wrote:Interesting fight apart from against Haye Chisora has looked very durable so could take Wilder into uncharted territory!! If this goes ahead Chisora will win handily. I will also win a substantial amount at the bookies. Chisora is durable and has skills he can get himself up for the big fights. He marched forward in straight lines against Haye and it still took an absolute bomb from Haye to put him down. He then took more unanswered punches and still got up.
He takes Wilder into the later rounds and stops him or widely outpoints him

I'm pretty sure Vitali and Helenius can punch pretty hard. Plus the shots Haye landed were huuuuge and he still got up. Chisora has a great chin, whether that is still true after Haye remains to be seen.columbo wrote:I see Wilder knocking him out in about 4 rounds or so. Im not saying they cant punch hard but I have a feeling Wilder hits harder.youngrell wrote:I'm pretty sure Vitali and Helenius can punch pretty hard. Chisora fought with his face against Haye. Think he fell in love with his own toughness and ability to take a shot.columbo wrote:I see Wilder knocking him out in about 4 rounds or so. Haye is a banger too, hit him with some huge shots.
Del Boy will pose a new problem for Wilder. He will have to face a man intent on actually throwing punches back at him!
Good fight if it takes place.
Re: Chisora V Wilder
You may be right. He looks heavy handed but also very wild, Chisora's bobbing and weaving could mean he won't land very cleanly.columbo wrote:Im not saying they cant punch hard but I have a feeling Wilder hits harder.youngrell wrote:I'm pretty sure Vitali and Helenius can punch pretty hard. Either way its a very good fight for both men!

Na its a good and interesting scrap. Definietly wont argue with that! Its one of those ones that makes you curious.

Re: Chisora V Wilder
Chisora's chin is very solid, even in defeat against Haye he kept getting up after taking bombs continually for round after round. Let's hope it hasn't been cracked. With his head movement and constant pressure he could give Wilder a real nightmare in there if he shows up in shape.

Hasn't goldenboy turned this offer down to fight Chisora?

Re: Chisora V Wilder
I'll believe this fight is happening when both boxers are in the ring. Certainly wouldn't buy a ticket until Wilder or his team confirm they have signed. Not saying Frank couldn't make the fight, or make big fights, but would have thought Wilder's team wouldn't want to risk this fight, especially in the UK, more-so against someone as unpredictable as Chisora.

A good test for Wilder, hopefully Chisora gets himself in decent shape in body and mind. His last fight he looked like he couldn't be arsed,

Judging by Chisora's last performance and his temperament of late, I wouldn't be expecting much from him to be honest.
Looks more like a red herring to sell tickets.
