My guess is Roy would be on the move and Marvin would out-box him to a sound decision. That jab would be a nightmare for Roy.

Jab beats speed, so Hagler by decision.

Hagler would find Jones Jr a handful initially, but once the Marvellous one warmed up & got into his stride, he'd solve the conundrum that was Jones Jr.

I see Hagler too, possibly by late KO. Many of Hagler’s victims succumbed after enjoying some success. I can imagine Jones landing a flush power shot moving in and finding himself taking punishment he didn’t expect.

For argument sake, let's credit as one of Roy's better achievements his win over Hopkins at middleweight.

With that said, lets send Marvin into this match in place of BHOP.

I just watched that fight.......and I have to say, Roy would not have made it to fights end if a good version of Marvin had been BHOP's stand in. If he was left standing, he would have collected few points is my guess.

Just my opinion.

Hagler after coming from behind and stopping Roy in the 9 or 10th. Roy could run but he could not hide, and Hagler eventually would land hard.

One of Hagler's best skills was his ability to cut off the ring and make his opponent work at such a high tempo that he fell apart. I rate RJJ highly but he would waste most of his energy for the first few rounds just trying to avoid being cornered by Hagler and then he'd be grinded down by Hagler's power. I would happily have paid big bucks for a ticket though! :box:
