Third times' a charm?

Who's going to be watching this one? Should be on allegedly and should be an absolute cracker. I was at the last one in Erfurt and thought our boy (Ola) won it. Ran out of puff at the end but both of them were struggling and swinging by round 12. Best live bout I've ever seen and am expecting similar in Berlin next month.

Ola has worked on his fitness but has been out of the ring since the last fight with Huck a year ago. This must be considered a 50-50 fight so who wins and why?

You know what I would love to go to this as the last fight was amazing although the whole logistics of getting tickets, getting a room & getting there would be an absolute nightmare!

I was at the last fight in Erfurt as well mate. Was a decent card with Pulev/Dimitrenko and Stieglitz. Was originally due to be Groves vs Stieglitz too. Was gutted that fell through.

Yes. It was when Scott Welch had taken over training Dimitrenko. Pulev was patient and forced him to quit iirc.

Nader Hamdan faced Stieglitz as a late replacement and went 12 rounds with him, just as he did with Abraham. Sauerland events have nearly always good undercards. Not so with some other event I recently attended in Germany.

I say Afolabi will win it on points. I hope so anyway. Fair play to Huck though, most other cruisers are avoiding Afolabi.

last fight was superb, huck is looking spent. can afolabi get that balance of boxing and fighting just right? he seemed to slug too much and lose composure late in the last fight. he almost had it...

He just doesn't seem to quite have the conditioning and fatigue to last through 12 rounds at a high pace. Remember he put his foot off the gas frequently against Enzo.

I think he might have realised that himself and worked a lot on fitness this time. I'm expecting this to go the distance again.
